25.01.2022 The Florey Institute of Health Neuroscience and Mental Health has long been offering U3A Melbourne City U3A with access to its expertise. Now the Institute is partnering with U3A Network Victoria to offer this expertise to all U3A members. The partnership will be launched with a webinar on The Aging Brain and Neuroplasticity presented by Professor Anthony Hannan. The webinar will be held on Thursday 19 November from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. 17.01.2022 Hi everyone Network has received this lovely update from U3A Nunawading about their member, committee member, and tutor, Paulina Chong being featured as part of Seniors Card and Seniors Festival - please share with your members and Facebook pages. "I thought Network would like to know that Paulina Chong, a U3A Nunawading committee member, a Leader of three classes on Zoom, is being featured in the Seniors Festival Reimagined.... Paulina's is a wonderful story and she makes a huge contribution to our U3A. In addition to her online exercise and empowerment classes, she hosts a Zoom social catch up with her class members on a regular basis. Paulina is an inspiring example of someone adapting to our lockdown and continuing to keep our members engaged."
