On a personal level it’s been the most challenging year that I’ve had for a while but with the unwavering support of the girls who I proudly call my team, my family and this wonderful community I have made it to the end of 2020. 07.01.2022 Goodbye 2020 What a year of challenge, growth, learning and at times serious hard work. It’s brought about the realisation that we can survive with much less than we once thought possible. We learned that we should value all that we have at home, in our local community, in our state and finally all that we can do and also source in Australia. At Karrara we’ve experienced the support and loyalty of our clients and wider community for which we are grateful. As a salon we’ve tr...ied to source as many South Australian/ Australian products as possible. We kept our doors open and provided at times the only place you visited during Lockdown. (To me a humbling experience that you looked forward to your visit to our little salon during Lockdown) As a team we raised each other up when times were hard and always tried to provide you with the safest and best possible service no matter what. I learned to ask for advice, help and to keep fighting until I found a way through. I also learned that I will never understand some people and that I also don’t have to. 05.01.2022 Well Karrara Hair community here we go again!!!!! Unfortunately due to the recent S.A. COVID-19 outbreak I have decided to restrict our clientele and we won’t be taking any New clients until we regain control of the virus. Thankyou to all of you who have been referring your friends and family to us recently. In ‘normal’ times I would never turn away anyone, so it’s such a hard decision to make again today. Just when I was looking forward to finally growing our little community salon. Alas, that will have to be put on hold. So at this stage we will trade as normal with myself and the girls all wearing masks and we strongly suggest that you should also wear them in the salon. Stay safe everyone and I’ll keep you posted.
