25.01.2022 Great weekend at Cooloola. All the Kart Republic drivers did an amazing job. The highlight was the KA3 Juniors filling the first two rows in qualifying and between Shaun Jaques, Remy Haller, Zane Rinaldi and Rhyan Mueller they finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd in all the heats and finished with a podium lockout. Zane managed to win all 4 races and continues to be unbeaten this year at his home track. Byron Phillips also made it a clean sweep in KA3 Light with pole and 4 race wins. In Cadet 12 Luke Rinaldi had great speed and was a big chance for a podium until a first corner incident in heat 3. Ryke Haller also in Cadet 12 did a great job and was improving all weekend. 24.01.2022 Last weekend saw Cooloola Kart Club host their first race meeting of the year and even with the threatening weather there was still a good turnout. Qualifying was held on Saturday afternoon with what looked like being the start of a wet weekend. Fortunately for me I watch it on Speedhive from Warwick where I was racing with some good old boys in the F100 QLD State Title before heading to Gympie to support the boys on Sunday. Kart Republic was represented once again by Zane ...Rinaldi in KA3 Junior who was going for his 3rd win in 3 weeks and started well by sticking it on pole he then went on to clean sweep the meeting with 2 comfortable heat wins an amazing defensive drive in the pre final with a mechanical issue and another victory in the final. However the final wasn’t so easy hot on his heels was Shaun Jaques on his debut for Kart Republic. Shaun has immediately come to grips with his new kart and after P2 in qualifying, pushed Zane all the way in the final and set fastest lap. The 2 KR’s where over 3 seconds clear of the field by the checkered flag. Rhyan Mueller once again showed some great speed and at stages over the day was the fastest of the three KR’s In Cadet 12 Luke Rinaldi was flying the flag for KR and qualified 4th and stormed to victory in the first heat. It came down to the final for the overall win between Luke and Isaac McNeill. Isaac jumped to an early lead Luke started to reel him in until he caught some lapped traffic and had to settle for 2nd but he drove great all weekend. Thanks to the CXR family Craig for the engines and technical help and Jace and Declan for spinning spanners on Rhyan, Shaun and Luke's karts. #kartrepublic #holdenkartracing #ravenolaustralia #cxrracingengines #rforce

17.01.2022 Kart Republic Highlights - Byron Phillips performance at Australian Karting Championships round 1. He lead his first ever race in his Kart Republic KR2. It was his first race in seniors at only 14 years old. KA3 had 60 entries and Byron was one of the stars of his class at the meeting setting fastest lap for the weekend. Some bad luck cost him the chance of victory in the final, but his speed from the moment he arrived at The Bend was phenomenal. The Kart Republic KR2 has certainly proved it is the kart to have in KA3.

15.01.2022 Yesterday Ipswich Kart Club hosted the KA100 Titles. Kart Republic was well represented in all 3 classes. Byron Phillips in KA3, Shaun Jaques in KA3J and Zane Rinaldi did double duties in KA3J and KA4. We decided to run our Kart Republic KR2 in KA4 for the first time. This model kart has won world championships at the very top level of the sport, state titles in Tag and lately brought us so much success in KA3 Senior and Junior. I was confident the kart would work, it had per...formed well in testing but in a class dominated by smaller junior karts we would only know for sure in race conditions. Well the result speaks for itself. In the biggest class of the day (29 entries) Zane grabbed pole position and was 1st in every race. Zane also started pole for the KA3 Junior final after 2 heat wins. He set fastest lap but missed the win in the final by 0.066 of a second. Shaun was 6th but only a tenth off fastest lap. Byron was quick in KA3 qualifying P3 and coming home 4th in the final. Thanks to Craig from CXR Racing for the great horsepower and support. 09.01.2022 What a stunning weekend again for KR! 1-2 in OK and 1-3 in OKJ!! Taylor Barnard simply crushed everybody from qualifying all the way to the final! Kimi ...Antonelli recovered amazingly from P5 on the grid and stormed to P2 fast lap after fast lap! Ugo Ugochukwu also dominated in OKJ, crossing the finish line over 6 seconds before Slater! The talented American driver was joined on the podium by Arvid Lindblad, able to squeeze out of a chaotic last lap, after a super solid weekend, as usual for him.
