21.01.2022 Here is a reminder of our event this year for those that attended. For those that did not attend here is what you missed.
21.01.2022 Hoping we have some interested people at our community meeting on Wednesday Night. We need the community to support the music festival, it has become such an iconic festival for Karuah. Many of our fans love coming because of the awesome music we deliver every year, and the friendly atmosphere. It is a festival that needs lots of input and volunteer support. Hope to see you there. 6 pm at the Karuah RSL club 20 th June xxx
17.01.2022 A big thank you to everyone that turned out for the community meeting for the festival. It was great to see so many locals show an interest in our Music Festival. I think all would agree it is a major undertaking to get this festival to continue. A big thanks to those that have agreed to join the committee. We will meet at end of July and date will be set. This first meeting will be open for interested parties even though you do not want to be in the organisation. more infromation to follow. Once again thanks to all who attended
16.01.2022 We have some encouraging news regarding the future of the annual festival event. At a meeting yesterday Brett R Hall expressed his interest in trying to put the show on the road again. His first action is to front the Port Stephens Shire Council for an indication that, subject to provision of an application, funding could be made available. Please continue to follow this page for news updates.
13.01.2022 It is with some regret we have to announce that unless there are MAJOR SPONSORS out there interested in ensuring that this event continues it is highly unlikely next years event will take place.
11.01.2022 Meeting Karuah RSL Thursday 5:30 pm. all those willing to participate to discuss with Port Stephens Council employee availability of funding. In addition those who are interested in being part of a new committee to progress the festival.
09.01.2022 Early stages yet but the Karuah Music Festival will continue as a FREE Street festival in late March . Lots of shops ,stalls and music in the main street. If you want to help , support or donate, get in touch . More info soon Cheers
