24.01.2022 Oh this is so me....i can fall over nothing without even trying but if you were watching...beside you falling over laughing...i cant even do it gracefully there will be feet, legs, arms everywhere as i try to stop the inevitable .....and of course fail dismally!!!!!!!!

22.01.2022 Miss Nikki would like to thank Uncle Bill and Aunty Sam from South East Country Vets for saving her babies. Nikki was not due for a week and in the pregnancy of a dog a week early is way to early. Nikki's placenta broke so 4am wake up call for Aunty Sam who said come immediately as this is huge problem. We arrived within 15mins and when we got there Uncle Bill (without his morning coffee) did ultra sound. Now puppies heartbeats should be around 180 3 were well under ...80 so prognosis we are going to loose them no sure about others. Uncle Bill warned my mum may not be able to save my bubbas may have issue with all of them. But these two legends not only got all my babies out they saved them ALL 9 of them. Aunty Sam worked so hard to ensure these kids could get their first breaths. I definitely had a few that struggled to start with but my mum was feeding them every 30 mins and is still doing hourly feeds as I don't have very much milk yet, but they are getting stronger by the minute. So Aunty Sam and Uncle Bill I and my gorgeous babies would like to say thank you so much especially Uncle Bill who had to miss out on his morning wake up coffee to get me up on the surgery table quickly. So I pawpledge Uncle Bill that I will not only buy you a coffee but i will buy you a big packet of coffee. Love from Nikki

22.01.2022 Some more photos of one of our puppies in her new home. Her name is Kassaar Warrioress....(she fought hard) reason pups born 9 weeks early 3 had heartrates under 70bpm (should be at least 180) and she was a 1/4 of the size of everyone. Not only did they all survive this little girl fought harder than anyone. When they went home at 8 weeks of age she was same size as the rest you would never have known. And boy has she got some sass and attitude but also she is so loving and smart. Her name is Miss Pepper and she loves her big handsome big brother Sarge.....now lets face it does she not have the best back up in the world and lets face it all big brothers look after their little sisters

21.01.2022 Well Miss Banshee is getting very uncomfortable with waiting for her babies to arrive. She did decide to check out the refurbishment of the puppy pens (due to them having had a lot of excavation work over the years) Dad came up with plan mesh under grass........HOPEFULLY NO MORE HOLES TO CHINA!!!! Middle fence to be reinstalled and the toys and forts to be rebuilt and put in place but we have at least 3 -4 weeks before Banshee bubbas would be testing them out. No the cou...ntdown is on babies should be arriving over the next few days and Banshee has been taking up residence in one of our whelping rooms and her daughter Saphhire will have her bubbas a couple of weeks after mum so will be a family affair and she is staying close to mum in her room next door. Both are loving the Aircon and full waiter service where food fed to several times a day and if you are fussy a new meal is delivered. Banshee has started requiring to be fed her chicken by hand REALLY BANSH!!!! s s

20.01.2022 Miss Vesta who had her 7th birthday on 2nd January and mum and dad popped me some photos they were staying up at their holiday home in Maleny getting some fresh country air.....and of course it rained so she got to wear a new orange raincoat for her walk and then of course time to snooze inside by the fire while it rained outside

19.01.2022 One week old and already scooting around the box...don't have a clue where they are going...but if they hear mum or smell mum they are off. Room service has just been in to do a room clean....Weisa comes to do check to make sure up to standard and then time to do a pup clean!!!!

19.01.2022 Happy 25th wedding anniversary to Jen and John. On their 20th wedding anniversary there gift was a very large photo portriat of Miss Freya a girl we bred. Now for their 25th anniversary the star was another one of their dogs we bred Miss Vesta. This one was a oil painting done by a friend of theirs. Now I can't draw a stick figure so love seeing what talented people can produce. So now the wall in the penthouse overlooking the Brisbane River is taken up by the 2 Kassaar girls........Geez my girls know how to pick their homes!!!!!!

12.01.2022 About a month ago we got some photos of one of the boys we bred Kassaar Sinbad AKA Frank now 1 year old. He is growing into such a gorgeous boy. His mum is one one of our girls Banshee and Dad is Zandolf. You can see what sensational colour and masking this boy has and dad Gerard has said he is the most beautiful nature and temperament and they love the boy to death. Thanks for the photos Gerard will go show his parents and his sister Saphhire who we have she is also a stunning girl, with fantastic nature and a big smooch....but oh the holes our girl digs!!!!.

11.01.2022 Well Mr Whiskey arrived in Darwin on Monday had to stay with us longer due to Quantas being only carrier flying to Darwin and they now have pups must be 12 weeks. But Whiskey already has mum and dad totally under his paw. He already got them to purchase him a pool a requirement for a Kassaar GSD.

09.01.2022 4 days out and Miss Weisa was the proverbial size of a house and very uncomfortable. Took her for progesterone test as did not think she would make the due date. Score very low so bubbas were well and truly cooked so while Weisa had a well deserved nap her babies were brought into the world by C-section. Mum and bubs (all 8 of them....and there are some big hoohas in here let me tell you) are all doing well. Weisa loves being a mum. Murdoch being a first time dad is... well and truly out celebrating what a stud he is and definately giving Zandolf the Paw....while boasting about his skills as a lover. Needless to say Zandolf is not amused and told Murdy he has a long way to go to reach Zandy's casanova status. Murdy is undeterred and is handing out cigars and telling all who will listen how great his is.

07.01.2022 got sent some photos from Ben and his family with their new little girl Kassaar Willow. Dad said she is a feisty lass but learning really quick and a beautiful girl in the making! First outing to Nudgee beach next weekend which will be great. She loves water. Thankyou for such a great dog. This girl has a sensational nature and I am sure she has already trained her big brothers including the 2 legged ones as well and has them wrapped around her paw.

05.01.2022 We have moved!!!!!! We are big kids now so decided we needed a bigger bachelor pad. Of course we also decided we needed a gorgeous young lady to come and cuddle us and play with us so we talked Aunty Calleigh into coming over........she gives the bestest cuddles. ... We also got to meet some rellies and one is a very important one. We met Lori (AKA Queen Lori). Apparently she is top dog here. We also met Lexi. Now she is confusing. She has 4 legs and a tail and seems quite nice but there is something wrong with her she looks funny, her fur has lost it colour she has no colour!!!!! Even our mum looked at her a bit funny. Mum and Lori were joking about how our dad must have used too much of the blondes shampoo on her and washed all her colour away.....i hope no-one washes my colour away I don't want to have no colour. Our new area is huge we have this massive outside area and as massive yard lots of grass to roll on.

05.01.2022 we are BIG DOGZ we get to go outside it is only our little area at the moment....not sure why we only get a little area when we are so huge......but hey we are out and about. We met grass....it is a green fuzzy thing nice to lay on!!!! But the bestest bit we get to feed ourselves as well. Now still learning how to do this.. first couple of days think we wore more than we ate.....you should have seen the blondes face when she came in and saw the mess we made....we had it all over us, the box, the floor....i think there was also some wall art. But when learning to feed yourself is 10 times harder when Orange stands in middle of the food dish....that boy really has no manners whatsoever...mind you Red not much better. Oh my puppy paws the mince and bickie is so so gooooood

03.01.2022 Ahh Mr Bruno (AKA Kassaar Yalkon) is growing up fast he just turned 7 months and mum and dad sent me a photo telling me how much they loved their boy and can't imagine their life without him. Caitlin and Claudio told me what they were looking for in a puppy and I picked the puppy with the personality that would match them and their lifestyle. They said he is exactly what I said he would be and suits them perfectly and he loves everyone and loves to play with the hoomans and other dogos alike. love the kercheif!!!!

01.01.2022 Well another big week at the Kassaar Ranch. Miss Saphhire and Mr Murdoch (our Watson Vom Thermodos son) had their babies. Miss Saphhire would like to thank the team at Greenbank Veterinary Hospital especially Aunty Mariska and Aunty Simone for getting her babies out safe and sound and early (boys 4 and girls 6). Unfortunately 30 hours later one of the girls got her angel wings but we know she will be safe and sound with Grandad Zandolf and Great Grandma Jaska to show her the ropes at the rainbow bridge...WHAT BETTER BACK UP COULD YOU ASK FOR.

01.01.2022 Mr Prince going for his first trip to the water Mum and Dad said he had a ball said he loved the water. REALLY AM I SURPRISED......not at all KASSAAR SHEPHERDS are renowned for their love and infatuation with water.
