19.01.2022 Well done to Corey Hickford who plays his 100th A grade game tomorrow. Corey has been an integral part of our a grade side for many years now. He is currently our 8th highest wicket taker of all time and 3rd highest in A grade. Also 1 off a 5th senior 5fa so here’s hoping that will be this week. Congratulations and good luck tomorrow.

18.01.2022 To all club members, sponsors, players and supporters, KFNC regret to advise that as of this week ALL MFNL football and netball competitions for season 2020 hav...e been officially abandoned. These decisions were made in the best interests of the clubs and their communities. The main points of interest considered were: The recent tightening of restrictions by the Victorian Government; The closure of borders; Additional burden on volunteers to comply with COVID-19 protocols and procedures; Community health impacts. KFNC will continue to monitor the situation regionally and identify any opportunities for our junior members to participate in netball and football if they arise. Consequently, it is paramount that we comply with all the regulations presented to us to ensure that we do everything we need to do to protect not only our representatives but just as importantly our community. On a more positive note, the club will aim to open up our facilities and offer our ‘Thursday Night Meals’ and a place for all to catch up as soon as we are allowed. These are extreme and challenging times and I wish to thank everyone for being understanding and supportive as we continue to work our way through it. If you have any questions or queries you wish to raise, please feel free to contact either myself or any committee members at any time. Regards, Corey Wilson KFNC President
15.01.2022 Hard to disagree with this, due to the work of some amazing community members in both summer and winter!
15.01.2022 Hi all, please see below press release from CS regarding our B grade final. Unfortunately games will not go ahead this weekend, and as the Highest ranked side we have been awarded the Clyde Young Shield. Whilst it is a somewhat hollow feeling I think it’s a fantastic time to recognise a group of players who have had great year and also the efforts of the side in previous years. To have both our lower grade sides as premiers is something we are super proud of. Community Teas ...will continue Thursday night this week with our presentation night on the 26th TBC after a special committee meeting in the next few days. Andrew Nicholls President KCC
14.01.2022 Tea's are still being cooked at the Club this Thursday Night. Members Draw and Nifty Fifty still being drawn out. Hope to see you there! #BgradeandEgradepremiers20192020

09.01.2022 Hi all, just some news in regards to the upcoming season. Earlier in the month, Ben informed us that he would not be continuing as the Katandra CC Club coach for the upcoming season due to time constraints. I would on behalf of the KCC like to thank Ben for his outstanding work as club coach across the previous 4 seasons. In that time the KCC have been one of the most successful sides in Cricket Shepparton, playing in 7 A Grand finals across 3 formats, represented CS at the N...orthern Rivers T20 comp and seeing Premierships in B and E grade last season. The work Ben has done instilling much needed professionalism to our club has helped us achieve some amazing results, and we could not have achieved these without his dedication. Ben will remain a vital senior member of our side as we look to the 20/21 season. We are now looking for a suitable candidate to take over the role for the 20/21 season. The Katandra CC has a long and proud history, and we are coming off arguably our best season ever, with our A Grade side winning the A Grade One Day final and playing Haisman Shield Finals. The A grade side have played in 7 Grand Finals across 3 formats since 2017/18, the core group of players have recommitted again, and with our B and E Grade sides winning their respective competitions in 2019/20 we have one of the most exciting clubs in Cricket Shepparton. Our facilities are some of the best of the league and we are a community based club, with our supporter group right behind us. We also have a promising group of Juniors coming through the ranks, with 2 sides in a small country town a real source of pride for us. If you feel this role may be one of interest we encourage you to get in touch with Club President Andrew Nicholls or A Grade captain Jedd Wright via [email protected]
