07.01.2022 So who’s ‘CLEMENTINE 13’ ? We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce a special heifer assisting in helping spread a very important message! The Black Dog Ride is an Australian charity with the purpose of raising awareness of depression and suicide prevention within the community. Longtime supporters and advocates for the charity, Peter & Judy Milton from Copplestone Charolais Stud have used cattle in order to help start the conversation. ... Each year the couple travel thousands of kms visiting schools, community groups and businesses throughout WA with a purpose of helping to spread an important message of ‘its ok to not be ok’. At the end of their campaign each year a heifer or steer is auctioned with all proceeds going to the charity. With COVID 19 causing many difficulties this year, we are now aiming to offer one of our best pedigreed heifers for sale in 2021 at a venue and date to be confirmed with all proceeds going direct to the Black Dog Ride Charity. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Pete & Jude for housing Clementine 13 whilst she tours around the south West over the coming months.
