23.01.2022 You know whats an easy decision? A decision that doesnt effect you personally. Thats what this Liberal government is doing. Making a decision that negatively impacts the rest of us, but doesnt effect their own superannuation. Paul Keating and the Labor Government changed the future of Australians for the benefit of everyone by introducing superannuation. Superannuation funds have funded major infrastructure projects in Australia, making it a better place. We cant afford to delay the increase in superannuation again. The time to increase it is now. We dont want to be living in cardboard boxes in our 80s. The aged care system is bad enough as it is. The time to increase superannuation is NOW.

20.01.2022 Happy Indigenous Literacy Day - a national celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, stories and language. Our Territory Labor Government is proud to have worked with The Indigenous Literacy Foundation to distribute more than 5000 picture books translated into Aboriginal languages throughout our Families as First Teachers sites in the NT, to help close the literacy gap. Today, at 12pm NT time, the ILF will host a virtual Indigenous Literacy Day celebration with Jessica Mauboy and Archie Roach and including kids from the Tiwi Islands and Jilkminggan! Im disappointed of course, but am thrilled to see that Chief Minister Michael Gunner and Territory Labor have been chosen by voters to lead us through the next four years. To the Katherine community, thank you so much for your support -- its been incredible! Id also like to say a huge thank you to my team of volunteers for all of the effort they put int...o this campaign -- I couldnt have done it without you. Finally, to my friends and family, youre just the best: thank you, thank you, thank you I take my hat off to Mel, Clinton & Jo -- it takes a great deal of courage and an enormous amount of work to stand up and run for public office.
