25.01.2022 Clothing Donations Needed Dear friends, I’ve just been to 3rd Space where I volunteer my services once a month treating underprivileged and homeless people. They are desperate for winter clothes especially Hoodies, jumpers and tracksuit pants. If you have any to donate, I’ll be going there again next Monday so you can drop off here or please take them in yourself. Location is Brunswick St Fortitude Valley. Many Thanks Kate

20.01.2022 Dear Clients I’m thinking of you all and hope you’re not struggling too much at this time? We are all in this together. Please keep your immune systems as strong as possible so that you can fight any illnesses you may have or might acquire. Here are some helpful tips to include in your daily routine:... 1. Make sure you get enough sleep, 6-8 hours is crucial for good health 2. Healthy diet, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, pulses and fresh meat, avoid processed foods. Please wash all your fresh produce well. Warm foods are great including soups and stews. 3. Exercise daily if you are able to. All gyms are closed now, however there are so many places and people who are working with online programs and videos. Walking is great exercise too if you are not in isolation, 15-20 minutes a day is great for your cardiovascular system and lung health. 4. Vitamin D, get into the sun for 15 minutes a day if you are able, if not you can take a vitamin D supplement, it’s essential for immune support. 5. Gut Health, a great fresh diet is the best way plus some probiotics 6. Vitamin C and Zinc daily are immune boosters. 7. Raw garlic and ginger, if you are able to take raw garlic it will help with your social and viral distancing 8. Keep washing those hands, there are so many great and some funny videos out there at the moment showing you how to do this effectively. 9. Keep loving yourself and each other 10. Try and keep your stress levels down, exercise and meditation is really helpful. If you need help with any of these tips please get in touch with me. I’m here for you.
