14.01.2022 Covid weddings rolled into my life (with a tyre screech) in 2020 with the creation of @idodrivethruweddings With it, so did beautiful couples like Ange & Brooklyn, who I married in a teeny tiny elopement in St Kilda. Like many of our couples, theirs was a wedding, small on guest numbers, but huge on feeling, emotion & LOVE. ... 13.01.2022 Today (in lock down,) my boy Gabe took requests on my Instagram (Stories.) It started as a way for me to get him off screens, (yeah hes a 14-year old piano player, who could practise more!) He did one solo and one with his Dad. When my Sydney celebrant pal, Allegra, requested Rise Up by @Andra Day, he recorded himself playing but asked his school mate, Olivia to send over her vocals on top of his playing. 01.01.2022 I knew I was saving this happy (December) wedding post to brighten the day! What I didnt know was that mid way through 2020s busiest month, wedding season would be cut short. Well almost. (Still marrying couples with a party of 5, as per current Government rule.) Lou & Robs wedding made my heart sing & Im so grateful for this beautiful memory. Heres what they said: We dont know where to start with all our love for Kate. Having known Kate in another lifetime she was th...e perfect and only choice as our celebrant. Ive always felt a connection with her and from that I knew our connection would be carried through to our wedding. Kates attention to detail was first class along with her ability to tune into our ultimate wedding goals. We wanted our very special day to be romantic and fun and Kate brought all that with her and so much more. We cannot emphasise enough how much we loved having Kate as our celebrant, she flew in especially to where we lived bringing with her, her very special kind of love, joy, caring and enriching nature.
