13.01.2022 Did you know we cater for school age children too? How beautiful to be ‘home’ before and after school and vacation care.

13.01.2022 On a Coordinator visit this week Sheryl took a special book pack along to read to the children. It turned out that at the FDC homes that she visited the children were very interested in animals so Dear Zoo was a great choice of book. While reading the book to the children they looked through a pile of animals and matched the animals to animals in the story lining them up in order of the story. This experience extends on Children’s Verbal Communication by interacting with others to explore ideas and concepts about the zoo and the animals who live there.

09.01.2022 Playing with blocks help children develop their vocabularies, improves math skills, and even teaches them about gravity, balance, and geometry. Building is all about size, shape, weight, leverage, and balance, and as your child works this out, their building and block play will become more and more complex.

09.01.2022 R is for Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle. We role model and educate the children in minimising the amount of waste we produce, reusing products as much as we can, and remembering to recycle any materials that can be used for a new purpose.
