25.01.2022 I still read books so I hope others do too cos I've made lots of bookmarks for the Darwin Boutique Markets this Friday

25.01.2022 Cards, cards and more cards getting ready for the market in the mall tonight and on Sunday at the museum grounds should be beautiful and cool, come along and enjoy this great time of the year

21.01.2022 Not hard to be hidden away in the craft room lately, air con pumping. I've been in a very creative mood using all the handmade papers I made during the dry season. I've produced some really unique and beautiful cards. I have heaps of Christmas cards but also lots of other cards for all those special occasions. The Christmas Craft Fair is on at the Convention Centre next Saturday 30 November. Hope to see some of those familiar faces who have purchased many of my cards over the years and those of you looking for something special. I'll also have some paper bowls for something a bit unusual. Doreen Dyer (her craftworks include beautiful eco silk scarves) and I will be sharing a spot again this year so come along and say hi.

21.01.2022 A big Thank You to Vicki Payne for allowing me to share my recent experiences of making paper at Curtin Springs with her scrap book ladies. Those who enjoy making cards and working with paper always seem interested in whatever others are producing out of paper. Who would have thought you could make beautiful paper, earrings and necklaces out of grass growing on a cattle station in desert country.

20.01.2022 Paper Beads ready for making into some nice pieces of jewellery. Had lots of fun making these at Curtin Springs

18.01.2022 Really looking forward to the Dragonfly Craft Fair down at the Waterfront on Sunday 13 September from 9-3pm. I'll have heaps of cards and some recycled paper bowls and bottles which are somewhat unique and very messy to make but they look great I think, I hope you do too. I've even provided some ideas of what you can use them for.

15.01.2022 Another great chance to purchase locally produced craft items this weekend at the Tactile Arts Christmas Craft Fair Sunday 2 December from 9-4pm in air conditioned comfort at the Darwin Entertainment Centre. Recycle Me Cards will be there and I've been having fun producing lots of different unique Xmas cards, hope to see you all there

12.01.2022 Recycle Me Cards will be at Darwin City Boutique Markets tomorrow night from 4 - 9pm come and check out the new range of unique handmade recycled paper cards

11.01.2022 Our first try at Eco dyeing not bad for newbies. Veronica and I had lots of laughs doing this at Curtin Springs Station using leaves, bark, nuts, seed pods and rusty finds to give these variations in colour

10.01.2022 Thank you to Amee, Lyndie, Ashley and Peter Severin from Curtin Springs for giving me the opportunity of the Artist in Residence program we all had such a great time and learnt so much. Such a land of contrasts and inspiration for any artist

06.01.2022 Paper, paper and more paper been in creative mode lately with the cooler weather and produced lots of naturally beautiful and funky pieces. Love the range of leaf cards and so pleased with the way some of them turned out. Will be at the next Boutique Markets in Darwin Mall on Friday June 1 if you want to see the latest creations

01.01.2022 Finished 'Nature's Basket' today. Made out of Kerosene grass, some parts dyed with red East Lake clay and some using a rust technique. Other elements included are emu feathers and eucalyptus leaves. Made this at Curtin Springs using my time here as artist in residence

01.01.2022 Here is a sample of the beach glass cards I have been creating. Will have lots more on show at the Mother's Day Craft Fair at the Darwin Waterfront 12 May 9am - 2pm. Come with your Mum and spoil her for the day at the Waterfront.
