13.01.2022 What better way to return to work than a morning spent with these guys. I photographed Lily as a newborn, and now little Mason has joined the crew. We moved their session outdoors to work around current restrictions, and I'm so glad we did. I absolutely love the relaxed, natural style and flow of outdoor sessions and we honestly have the most beautiful surroundings so close by.

11.01.2022 I haven't really shared my little space on here for a long, long time, so probably due for an update! I've been photographing newborns and families for SIXTEEN YEARS! Wow, that's a long time and a lot of gorgeous babies! (That’s even pre-Facebook and pre-iphone!) I started out using our media room as my studio back when my boys were tiny, but as they grew and we added a baby girl I needed a space that was seperate from our home. And so twelve years ago we converted part of ou...r garage (hubby's boat garage - thank you hubby!) into my work space. At the time I thought it would be a stepping stone and that once the kids were into school I'd get myself a little commercial space. But I just love working from here and my clients all love it too. I'm constantly told it's such a warm, relaxed, private and welcoming space. Often my studio is the first venture out of the house for families after the birth of their bub, and it can be scary! I get it. What if your baby cries? What if your baby poos? What if they just want to feed the whole time? But I've got you. My sessions are really gentle on you right from your soft start scheduled time. If bub needs to feed, they feed. If bub needs a cuddle, they get a cuddle. And if they poo... well I have LOTS of fabrics, lots of disinfectant and if it's really bad, a bin lol. And I'm pretty good at settling a bub, I've done it a time or two. So you just come, sit back and relax, watch as I work some magic on your amazing little person, and love on you a little too - because you're doing an amazing job and I know those first few weeks are pretty full on. But for the rest of your life you'll have beautiful art and memories of your amazing little person you just bought earth-side. So come in, sit down, relax, have a cuppa and know - I've got you. These boys clearly adore their parents and I love that these moments were captured now - before you know it you won't be able to swing those gorgeous kiddos around, but my hope is that your images will bring back the sounds of their excited squeals when you did. And may they always look at you like you hung the stars - even when they're grown.
