19.01.2022 Sensory Play Adults can also really benefit from the sensory input of playing with different textures like playdough, cloud dough or kinetic sand. The tactile system sends good feedback to the brain which can help release tension.... It also gives us something menial and simple to focus our attention on. That is the aim of this play time. Be like a child and for a few moments at least act as though nothing else matters but this sensory play. Adding in an essential oil like LAVENDER, only heightens the calm that can be experienced with this. 18.01.2022 Had a beautiful friend come for a social distancing lawn visit today! We hadn’t seen each other physically in well over ten years. You’d never have known it! ... The connection between us so intense and amazing you’d think we caught up for life chats weekly! Thanks to social media I have these intense connections often. People coming into my life that seem like they never weren’t a part of it and regardless of the time that passes between us it never really matters- our connection is so strong the conversation feels like a reuniting of souls. And this all just resonates so strongly into my beliefs that for me quantity of time spent together pails in comparison to a deep connection. And I couldn’t be more thankful than I am for every single person that has ever blessed my life like that- no matter how many physical meetings we have. It’s uncanny, really, how deep you can go so fast when you just click like that. Right now I’m getting to have these kind of connections almost daily and the ideas I used to hold for ‘the one’ to fill up all of my connection needs are fading as I replace my dreams for life to just be a life where I get to see and be seen like I was today as often as possible and with as many possible. To think how little I valued friendships previously- life is operating in contrast right now. I’m a YES to any chance I can get to connect! And gosh do I just LOVE so many of you!

Add 6-8 drops of PASSION: Inspiring blend (or literally any oil or oil combination you are loving) to a decent squirt of Fractionated Coconut Oil and slowly apply it to every inch of your body. ... 16.01.2022 The Potato Masher I like to perform this one standing up bare foot with my eyes closed. I then visualise that I have a potato masher pushing down through the crown of my head.... Feel it grabbing onto any tension or negative energy in your head and pushing it down. Past the throat, heart, ribs, stomach, groin and then down the legs and out the feet back into the Earth Take your time with this. Visualise a colour if you need to and it all just being pushed out of your body for release. An amazing oil to anchor with this is our reassuring blend, PEACE- helping to settle the nervous system so we can release that which isn’t ours to carry and calm that which is. 13.01.2022 Sitting. Reading. Silly selfies.... Getting to witness what my girls decide to with their ‘boredness’ in the morning. Today they have pulled out a blue sheet and some towels and created an ocean to play mermaids on. Reminding me always that there’s always places we get to go in our minds wherever we are - wonder in every moment- and a blessing to even have that moment. As I sat in the nothingness sirens were going in the background and my heart fluttered a thankuou that every one before me in this room was given another day to LIVE. Will I choose to LIVE though today ? Or will I fall into routine and to do lists and mindlessly distract myself from the unknowns and lose the chance at really living the day? Now that I felt glimmers of living life experiencing the love and joy and beauty literally everywhere I don’t want to look away. My kids wake each morning and create their day and I feel so bloody lucky that I am starting to too! This recovering type A is fast realising that productive is so very over-rated. It doesn’t feel anywhere near as good as looking up.
12.01.2022 *Mindful Brushing. Some things we do so often that we almost don’t notice them anymore. Habits, like brushing your teeth, are usually performed automatically, while the mind skips off to other plans, worries or regrets. ... Instead, try to focus on that chore and really experience it. Notice how the brush moves over your teeth and the taste of the toothpaste. Of course, do this activity with DoTERRA’s ON GUARD TOOTHPASTE just another way to get On Guard into your day! 07.01.2022 The Mindful Window. Find a window. Look at everything you see. ... Start by the things that are closer to you and then, progressively, move your focus to those that are farther away. Avoid judging or labeling things. Forget about the object don’t name things. Focus on the shapes, colors, movements, or textures. Don’t pay attention to the sounds either. This exercise is about increasing focus by developing your ability to see things. And I would use TEA TREE an oil for asserting boundaries and cutting through the noise for this. Sighing is an absolutely amazing energy release it’s such a shame we were raised to stop doing it. Lets bring it BACK... Do this at least 3 times. 03.01.2022 Watch a child or animal The aim of this is to really focus on all of the intricate details on the person or animal you are watching. Literally study them.... Every hair on their head/body. Their eyes, mannerisms, the way they move. Make it as creepy as possible so choose someone that you’re allowed to be creeping over no stranger watching for this activity. And breathe in that bottle of CHEER: Uplifting Blend as you really anchor to how wonderful they are.
