21.01.2022 I did something different yesterday for Christmas. I ignored my phone, did not open my computer and spent the entire day spending time with my family. Having a laugh, a drink and eating great food. Something we take for granted and something that I have not been able to do all year. I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas day as I did. Considering not a lot of the dogs had attended the venue before, they all handled the new environment, noise from the weather and the new people and new dogs EXTREMELY well. ... 14.01.2022 Met some gorgeous dogs this week with in home privates. Helped teach their owners how to get the best out of their dogs. Building confidence, having FUN, teaching dogs to control their own behaviours, leash manners, food manners and most importantly bringing harmony back to families. <3 Mental stimulation will tire your dog faster than physical exercise. BOTH are vital for your dogs well being, however if your dogs are destructive or are creating issues, mentally challenge them. Let us show you how.

13.01.2022 Tuesday CIVIL Canine training was fun and great to see dogs at Beck's Cafe. Although their was no food or drinks served to the humans and the "music" of barking dogs, sirens and other random sounds was not the average cafe music, the dogs were fantastic. Learning and practicing Life Skills. learning not to eat dropped food, to lunge at other people or dogs, to be calm and confident in a cafe situation. Finishing off with a relax on the grass.

13.01.2022 March was EXCEPTIONALLY light on with posts of pictures and videos of the happenings around K9Resolutions due to personal reasons. I would like to take this opportunity to thank those that supported me personally and the Club through the past 6 weeks with the passing of Ripp and human family member. Ripp was my 11.5year old Boxer who is the reason I am a dog trainer, the reason K9Resolutions exists and who I am today. ... A special shout out and THANK YOU to: Matt Trewin who took some gorgeous photos of the Mature Ripp for me to cherish always. To the Crew at K9Resolutions and of course my family. Ripp will always be a part of who I am, the reason that I will dedicate helping owners and dogs to enrich their lives and relationships with each other and most importantly, to guide owners, so they can create the best version of their dogs possible. I will continue to offer events so your dog can experience as much in life that we can offer them and to be a part of this human world we expect them to live. I would like to stress to you: It is the JOURNEY you travel with your dog in this world that is cherished, NOT just your end goal. THE JOURNEY is the MOST IMPORTANT PART - THAT IS LIVING! One thing I hold dear is that Ripp lived a FULL life. Starting puppy school at 8 weeks of age, was where it all began. Meeting the Crew at K9iQ and the trainers I still call friends today. Daily training which created the strongest relationship. Ripp also did person protection work, tried herding (definitely no kelpie), lure coursing, swimming, helped with puppy raising, puppy preschool education, club demonstrations and also helped rehabilitate MANY dogs with reactivity issues. He is my soulmate and made me a better person, the person I am today. Thank you Ripp. <3 You taught me what no human ever could. ENJOY YOUR DOGS! Cherish them and create the dog you want as it will not happen without your dedication. Owning a dog is a lifestyle. Embrace it and enjoy them as the day will come where you do not want any regrets. R.I.P. Ripp.

ALL K9 Resolutions members have FREE access to the Club Members page where posts to lift your spirits and where we can still be a close knit dog family. Social distancing is a reality but on this page we can still be close, supportive and interactive. For all loyal members who have attended weekly or fortnightly classes this ...year, the training support pages are available FREE for you to continue to receive training advise from trainers 7 days a week.
