10.01.2022 GOOD MORNING EVERBODY AND A BIG HIP-HIP HOORAY TO JUNE 22, the first Monday in a very long time that we have all been eagerly and impatiently waiting for! Today we can finally get ourselves back into the gym and be more motivated than ever to get back into the swing of things. All of a sudden, here we are all excited for a 5:30am alarm wake up just to get inside that gym and train as we used to! More important and exciting news on another note is the launch of my ‘LIKE A GI...RL’ HEALTH & FITNESS COACHING PROGRAM. Alongside being a full time PE/Health & Science teacher, isolation has given me the motivation and inspiration to start up an online coaching business as a personal hobby and remain committed to the fitness industry. I will therefore be offering online coaching (training & nutrition) and small group training sessions on Saturday’s at Paramount Health and Fitness Club (Ascot Vale). SOO why ‘LIKE A GIRL?’ I have created ‘LIKE A GIRL’ for likeminded women seeking to create a positive change in all aspects of their health and wellness. ‘LIKE A GIRL’ focuses on much more than just the superficial aspects. ‘LIKE A GIRL’ focuses on the development of a strong body AND strong mind, with emphasis on building a ‘growth mindset’. LIKE A GIRL’ is all about the gradual and continual process of making small, positive changes that will ultimately foster realistic and maintainable lifelong habits. ULTIMATELY, ‘LIKE A GIRL’ symbolises "FROM INSULT TO INSPIRATION. In a nutshell ‘LIKE A GIRL’ has been created to reframe the stigma of what it means to do something ‘LIKE A GIRL’. Rather than associating ‘LIKE A GIRL’ in a degrading, patronising, inferior or negative way, ‘LIKE A GIRL’ aims to emphasise the positive and incredible qualities that we as women endeavour. 'We as girls’, are strong. We are wilful, independent and empowered. We as girls are kind but firm, soft but formidable, sensitive but confident. We as girls are ambitious, determined and capable.
