19.01.2022 Château de Chinon- in the Loire Valley France. Overlooking the Vienne river valley. Joan of Arc once lived here for some time. Standing in places like this is why I love to travel . The history is fascinating. The architecture is phenomenal.

14.01.2022 There are so many people in need and we are currently supporting friends in the Adelaide hills that lost their homes ! I turn your attention to the wildlife . My cousin Patrick and Heidi work with the extremely rare Dunnart ( marsupial ) and the only place it is found is on Kangaroo island. The west end of the island is decimated and likely that this species is now wiped out. Its impossible to know who to help and how... I sit feeling extremely useless ! My heart breaks for the many endangered species whose habitats are now potentially lost. Ive had some people o/s ask how they can help and Ive been directing them to my cousins work and local wildlife. Money going straight to support my cousins business and the Dunnart See more

04.01.2022 Day ... ..? Today was challenging for me. Old memories and emotions resurfacing and controlling me I have so many questions and thoughts and worries about our current situation as many of you may have. I hid for a while then I remembered the true healing power of nature and got out there. I called my best friend and walked with my sister. 03.01.2022 Iceland 2004 This incredible country cost us a fortune to get to but worth every cent. We were lucky to see it before it became an insane tourist destination. We rode bikes all over Reykjavik and discovered the unique and intriguing landscapes and people. i will return ... The blue lagoons unique abilities were first discovered in the early 1980s when local residents began to bathe in the warm blue reservoir that had formed in the lava field a geothermal power plant. Engineers at the facility had expected the water to seep through the lava and return to the earths volcanic aquifers. However, owing to the fluid's high concentration of silica, proper drainage did not occur and a beautiful body of water took shape. The lagoon soon became the focus of intense scientific study, dedicated to the research of the waters primary elements: silica, algae, and minerals.

02.01.2022 Stunning Sydney. We used to visit Sydney to see bands or art exhibitions, these days some of our dearest friends live there so any excuse to see them is an excuse to see the glory of Sydney, especially in this light and around Lavender Bay. This picture was taken from a cheap little hotel room hubby and I stayed in when the girls were young. Nice views to wake up to and some very clever gaffe tape wrapping to windows to get cool time lapse images also. Ill be sharing an image a day of my favourite travel destinations until I can travel again ( May be a looooong journey here) please join me by sharing an image .
