25.01.2022 It’s official!!! SMALL STEPS BALLET with Miss Michelle is here!!! Welcome to my new page! Small Steps Ballet is a daytime pre school ballet school located in Macleod, Doreen and Briar Hill, commencing classes in 2020!... We are officially recognised by Kinderballet to offer 'Kinderballet Accredited Classes'. The Kinderballet programs teach children aged 2 years to 5 years an introduction to ballet through the magic of imagination and narrative. Watch your child grow and learn to dance in a fun and creative environment of movement, music and adventure. Small Steps Ballet is committed to nurturing each child’s individual ability and is focused on safe dance practice. If your child is returning to ballet next year, keep an eye out for next years timetable coming soon! 22.01.2022 *** Meet your Small Steps Ballet Teacher *** MICHELLE GRILLO - ‘Miss Michelle’ Diploma in Dance Teaching and Management, Advanced 2 Cert (MTDB). Cecchetti trained. Safe Dance Course and Child Developement. Over 22 years of dance teaching experience. ... 10 years experience teaching the Kinderballet programs. Michelle's dancing journey began at the age of 5 years old. She danced at her local dance school for many years gaining skills in all areas of dance including Cecchetti ballet exams and ISTD modern exams. Michelle began assisting and teaching ballet, modern, jazz and contemporary classes from the age of 16 years old, and after completing her year 12 studies, went on to study and gain her Diploma in Dance Teaching and Management at Box Hill TAFE. Michelle continued to teach dancing at local dance schools spreading her love of dance and expertise to many children of all ages in all dance styles. For the past 10 years, she has focused on teaching Pre-School dance and has delivered the Kinderballet programs, teaching children from the ages of 18 months through to 7 year olds. She is known to many as ‘Miss Michelle’. Michelle has also managed and trained pre school dance teachers in VIC for 3 years and has completed a seminar on Safe Dance Practice. Michelle's journey now brings her passion for dance teaching to operate her own pre school dance studio, Small Steps Ballet. Miss Michelle is looking forward to teaching the introduction of ballet to little ballerinas and dancers through the fun and imaginative programs of Kinderballet in 2020 and beyond.

21.01.2022 At Small Steps Ballet, we offer your child the opportunity to participate in a ‘Presentation Day’ on the last class of the year. Children display their Term 4 classwork at their usual class and venue. A small fee is added to Term 4 fees which covers the costs for each child to receive a medal and a costume to dance in and take home. This is an optional event. Details and costs associated with Presentation Day are released at the end of Term 3
