20.01.2022 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! 18.01.2022 J.I. Packer says: The Psalmist was in the dark, unable to see the way to go and bound to get lost and hurt if he advanced blindly. (This pictures our natural ignorance of God’s will for our lives, our inability to guess it and the certainty in practice of our missing it.) But a lamp (think of a flashlight) has been handed to him. Now he can pick out the path before him, step by step, and stick to it, though darkness still surrounds him. (This pictures what God’s word does for... us, showing us how to live.)* Praying that we would continue to dig deep into God's Word and read it well. *J. I. Packer, 18 Words: The Most Important Words You Will Ever Know

23.12.2021 John (Louise’s brother-in-law), who has Down Syndrome, was told by a minister that he wasn’t allowed to serve in church anymore. The rational was that someone with an intellectual disability doesn’t have the ability to understand the gospel and therefore, shouldn’t be allowed to represent the church in any kind of way. In this workshop on ‘Engaging all Learners to Engage with God: Including Kids and Teens with Disability’, Louise (Principal of @MaryAndrewsCollege), will be sh...aring: How she became passionate about including people with disability in church communities, What is a Christian response to including people with disability, and Some practical tips and examples of how we can be doing more to include those with disability in our churches. Check out this snippet of her workshop and register now to get access to this brand-new content and more. Register here: https://bit.ly/3CaIMH2
