10.01.2022 Well...we can't just leave it at that. There's an old saying that warns against working with animals and children, but in this case, we can add adults to the mix. Putting together a video (with singing) and coordinating children was never going to be easy. A big thank you to Ms Blayden and her daughter, Stacey, for all preparation of back drops, filming and editing that made our Christmas video so special Take a few minutes to enjoy our behind the scenes videos - they will be sure to make you laugh!

05.01.2022 It was over a year ago when Mrs Woods had a vision to create a yarning circle for our school. A smoking ceremony with Uncle Ivan, many hours of planning and research and a generous use of school funds, and we have finally achieved it! Today we finished off the landscaping with the help of Ryan, Ethan and Trent from Natural Landscaping. Several of our students were excited to help with the planting of the final shrubs today. The end result with our spectacular totem poles is just stunning! What a beautiful space to enjoy a yarn!

04.01.2022 K-2 students enjoyed their mini cross country course yesterday. We are sharing some photos of the winners, with their place stickers on. Students with silver stars showed great sportsmanship and kindness. Everyone had lots of fun!

04.01.2022 Staff have spent the past two days engaging in professional learning. One of the sessions today examined a play-based approach to learning using loose parts. Teachers selected a quality picture book and designed an activity using a variety of natural and man made objects. We loved seeing the enthusiasm and creativity in our teachers and cant wait to see this passed down to our students.

03.01.2022 We are excited to share this special moment with you. Jenny is a Year 3 student who loves writing, especially creating her own chapter books. During a recent visit, our Director of Educational Leadership, Karen Endicott, saw Jenny's work and said she would love to give one of Jenny's stories to others, as Christmas gifts. Jenny worked with Miss Todorovic and Mrs Woods to refine and edit her story, Ginger and Spots. What a thrill it was to present Mrs Endicott with the publi...shed copies yesterday. Jenny's story will now be gifted to other educational leaders throughout the Department of Education. We are so very proud. We have attached just a sneak peek. Jenny's book will be available in our school library next year.
