25.01.2022 Nominations are now open via Swim Central - close Thurs 26th Nov 8pm. You need to nominate your swimmers each and every week for racing. You can only nominate for 1 distance per stroke... Our extra race this week is 25m and 50m freestyle relays - we have created the teams based on best times this term and will email you if your child has made the team (you don't need to nominate for these relays)

21.01.2022 At this stage Swimming Club is still going ahead Friday unless we are notified by the school. Our extra race this week is relays that we didn't get to do last week - no need to nominate, we have created the teams based on best times. We will do a parents vs kids relay at the end of the night, so bring your togs if you're keen!

17.01.2022 We now have a club Mascot! Thanks to @Melissa Woodcroft and her team at Concepts Unlimited Design who put together the design for us. Stay tuned this little guy/girl needs a name...competition to come!

We noticed so many parents taking photos of our little swimmers - pleases feel free to share them on this page - everyone would love to see them. Congratulations again to all the swimmers - they did their club proud

15.01.2022 NOMINATIONS CLOSE TONIGHT 8PM https://swimcentral.swimming.org.au/ No late nominations will be accepted IT IS AGE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK!! For the age championship you must nominate your swimmer/s in the appropriate age group based on the calendar year (e.g. if born in 2013, use the 8 & Under group)... All events between 6-9 year old age group are 25m events All events from 10 year old and above are 50m events You must attend the meet to be in the running for age champion Age champions will be based on fastest times and will be awarded next Friday 26th March at our breakup

You can only nominate for 1 distance per stroke, (the extra race is the exception) depending on whether they've reached the qualifying times (see details on website) https://kedronswimclub.swimming.org.au/ This week we are having relay practise for the carnival on Saturday - so not feature event tomorrow night.

13.01.2022 UPDATE: The school is installing a new filtration system in the pool and unfortunately this hasn't been completed in time for our sign on day this Saturday as there has been some issues with install. So the kids won't be able to swim. But we are still having a sign on day as planned where you can sign up...if you haven't already, swimmers can pick up their club caps and a free ice block. We hope to see you all down at the pool Saturday!

13.01.2022 It's Mexican Rice bowl night this Friday - thanks to Gemma from Kedron Kitchen Orders are only via the normal Tuckshop website: https://tuckshop.schoolshoponline.net.au/kedronss/index.aspx There is a new session in the website to select called "Swim Club Friday Night" and then select "Friday 12 March"... Mexican rice bowl $6.00 Corn chips $2.00 Orders will need to be in by 11am on Friday 12 March There will be no cash, only EFTPOS to minimise contact. Drinks and ice blocks will also be on sale, as normal

13.01.2022 Thanks to Kedron State School we have managed to secure a Dolphin Timing System and Meet Manager to help us time and record each swimmers race this season. This is really exciting news for our club! We can't wait to get racing!!

10.01.2022 We had a fantastic turn out for the working bee yesterday at the pool. There is still a lot of work to be done but all those who showed up achieved so much yesterday! Thank you to everyone who took time out of their weekend to help us. Looking forward to our first swim meet after the holidays!!

09.01.2022 Is everyone ready for our last night of swimming club for the 2020/21 season?? One of our very generous club parent's Lyndal Wilson has kindly pulled together this amazing Easter Raffle for our final night. $50 of chocolate has been donated by Kedron Coles and $50 donated by Lyndal and her family. Tickets will be on sale at the canteen.... We look forward to having a fantastic last night at club where we will acknowledge are amazing swimmers and have a bit of fun too

05.01.2022 Unfortunately we have just been informed that the pool has had issues and therefore tonight's meet has to be cancelled. There are repair men there now trying to get the pool back in working order before next week's swimming carnivals. Enjoy your night off and weekend and we will see you pool side next Friday night for a final meet of the year!
