24.01.2022 Big thanks to my friend Louise from Central Mallee Osteopathy for getting my body moving today. 60 seconds on at 8/10 - 60 seconds recovery x6 1 minute rest Repeat again... And if you’re brave repeat again (I didn’t) Why don’t you give it a go this weekend. You don’t have to run you can do it on a bike, in a pool or you can do mixed cardio like 60 seconds of burpees followed by 60 second walk! Enjoy

24.01.2022 You might have noticed there's some new faces in at Keep Active this year. Meet Eliza :) Eliza is a born and bred Sheppartonite. ... She was meant to be commencing her second year of a Commerce degree (majoring in accounting / minoring in agribusiness) at Deakin University in Burwood. However like lots of us this year life had other ideas for her. So lucky us Eliza has been an excellent addition to our admin team while Bree has been on maternity leave. Eliza has enjoyed learning all the ins and outs of administration that help keep our busy clinic on schedule. When not studying or helping our clinic community she enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes (although I am yet to taste any of her creations, hint hint!) and when it's possible she loves being outdoors hiking and snowboarding with friends. If you happen to catch Eliza make sure to give her a friendly hello

14.01.2022 So in my yoga practice Friday night the thought of the day was this: "You don't have control over your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you" No surprises the practice was called 'Let it go'! ... For some reason it stuck with me over the weekend and I found it really helpful. - Grumpy because your baby thinks its party time at 4am, changed it to extra cuddles for me. - Feeling a bit housebound because my partner worked on Saturday, we have a beautiful home and we are all healthy - This is hard during interval run on Saturday evening turned into how great does it feel to be able to use my body like this again after over 12 months of not. Now sometimes its easier said than done but I would definitely encourage you to give it a go.

When you go from little to no activity to lots (like most of us getting carried away with those weeds) you can cause joint and muscle strain/sprain. Have you woken up sore this morning? ...
