23.01.2022 Pain is an inevitable part of being human, whether that's physical or emotional pain - we can't escape it. But suffering is optional. There is a way for us to manage the pain in a way that allows it to move through us much more quickly and easily than when we resist and fight against it. It's all about the way we approach the pain. You have to sit with it and feel it to heal it.

21.01.2022 I want to share one of my favourite (and most popular) mindfulness techniques with you. It's a super simple and effective way to calm an overthinking mind. It's easy to believe our circumstances are stopping us feeling inner-peace, but actually, our biggest barrier to peace is overthinking.... If you find that you get caught in a spiral of negative over-thinking or worry, you're completely normal, but it doesn't have to stay this way. Nor do you have to try and change your personality to stop that habit and experience real peace. You just need some tools you can put into practice. That's why having a super simple way of bringing our awareness back to the present is so important. It can quickly and easily bring us back to a state of peace. That's what I want to share with you in this video. It's one of my most popular mindfulness techniques because of how ridiculously simple it is - even fun!

Let me break it down to these 3 things... 1. What you'll give your attention to. 2. The meaning (or "mental stories") we make of things. 3. The way we respond to what happens around us. Knowing that you have a choice is all about empowerment and it's the first VITAL step to making positive change or growth.
