18.01.2022 Let’s talk carbs ... Seriously... how hard is it to work this out? It’s not easy ... I hear you !!!! Yes it’s true that carbs are broken down into glucose but not all carbs are created equal... Carbohydrates are a vital Macro nutrient our bodies need to function... in fact glucose is virtually the sole fuel source for our brain cells, and we source our fibre from unprocessed plant based carbohydrates and this is vital for a balanced gut microbiome or in other words good ...gut health! And our brains and our gut are directly linked via the Vagus nerve and they impact on each other. What we must understand is that not all carbs are created equal. 14.01.2022 Some days the body does not want to cooperate... 40+ years of pushing it can cause a rebellion...Back surgery and now post viral syndrome... & I have been pushing a little hard lately ...
