25.01.2022 A Massive THANK YOU and farewell to our wonderful senior coaches Sarah and Maryann who are stepping down from their coaching positions after many years of service to the KG SWIM CLUB and community. We will miss your smiling faces, patience, good humour and for teaching our kids such an important life skill.

22.01.2022 Club break up was a hit with pizza , a free swim , awards and the infamous Dash for Cash . Well done to all the swimmers and thanks for sticking with us during a disruptive second half to the season. Stay tuned for swimming lessons for next term and the new Swim Club season in Term 4. 18.01.2022 COVID19 UPDATE We are writing to let everyone know that at this stage we are continuing to operate swimming lessons and swim club as normal. We have discussed this decision with the school PnC and note that Kelvin Grove State School is continuing to operate and deliver swimming lessons and other pool based activities as part of their normal operations. As you will be aware this is a rapidly developing situation and the Committee will continue to monitor the situation and ...public health advice and respond as required. We will communicate with you by email and via our Facebook page. We ask that all parents continue to monitor the health and well being of their children and themselves and to strictly follow the public health advice issued by the Queensland Department of Health. You should NOT be attending if you or any of your family members: have tested positive for the virus; are feeling unwell; have recently returned from overseas and are subject to home quarantine requirements. Updated public health information from the Queensland Department of Health can be found here . We have extracted the below list of symptoms from the Queensland health advice to help inform our swimming community what to look out for: "Signs and Symptoms: Symptoms reported in identified cases of COVID-19 novel coronavirus include: fever a cough sore throat fatigue shortness of breath." Whilst this is an uncertain time we can all help to look after each other by being vigilant and accessing and acting on the advice of public health authorities. KG Swim Team. 12.01.2022 We have opened enrolments for Term 1 swimming lessons! Enrolments for lessons are limited to 100 places and always sell out. To avoid disappointment and save money, enrol and pay for your swimmers NOW. ... We offer extremely competitive pricing, a wonderful facility and highly experienced coaches. Lessons run Tuesday 28 January 2020 to Tuesday 31 March 2020. Tuesday and Thursday Learn to Swim 1 and Adv Learn to Swim 3.30pm - 4.00pm Learn to Swim 2 and Adv Learn to Swim 4.00pm - 4.30pm Mini Squad 4.00pm - 5.00pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Junior Squad 4.30 - 6.00 Fees - $150 (per child) for one lesson a week for 10 weeks paid before 28 January 2020. We do not pro-rata fees. If your swimmer cannot make a session within the term, please see coaches and we will do our best to provide a make-up session - we do not provide refunds.
