25.01.2022 Here is the link for our Drinks and dinner night for Dion Barnett. Dion was an active and enthusiastic member of KSCC and 20 years ago next January he passed away in a tragic motorbike accident. Since then we have been holding a memorial hillclimb in his name - usually referred to as Dion Day.... So on January the 23rd - Ashleigh, is organising an awesome night to celebrate and remember ‘Barney’ and it is going to be a fundraiser for our club as well. Even if you didnt know Dion - you are more than welcome to come along and spend it with us, enjoy the night, have fun with the motor sport trivia planned and enjoy the band! Head on over to the events page for more information. You do need to pre-purchase tickets though - $40 per ticket will get you into the event, dinner, enter the show n shine, live music and the trivia! The money raised from this night will go towards improvements at the Mt Cooperabung Hillclimb track.

19.01.2022 ON SATURDAY! We are having a Working Bee at Mount Cooperabung Saturday 9.00am to get our track ready for the NSW State Hillclimb which is coming on the 1st and 2nd of May. We need to clean the drains & trails and trimming grass around the barriers. ... If you have a whipasnipper and the time we would really appreciate your help! See you then!

18.01.2022 COVID-19 has stuck again!! We were planning a hillclimb for the 20th of September but we have had to cancel it due to the restrictions imposed by NSW Health. This includes restriction on attendees travelling to different regions as outlined and identified by the NSW Government.... Doesnt seem to be a problem? The Regions that are identified put Kempsey in the North Coast region which extends from Port Macquarie to the Queensland border. This means our members from south of Port Macquarie, would not be able to attend. The committee feels if we were to exclude any financial members of our club from competing in this event, it would cause irreparable damage to the club and in that case we cannot conduct the event. The restrictions are in place for 6 weeks from 17th August to the 29th of September, hopefully they will not be extended and our November Hillclimb will go ahead. Fingers crossed!

17.01.2022 WORKING BEE this Saturday. We are having a working bee at the hillclimb Saturday starting 9.00am to spruce up the track for our State round. OFFICIALS We also need officials for the state round on the 1st and 2nd of May. If you can let us know, by leaving a message her or contacting Debbie or Kiffer what days your available and the job you'd like this will help us plan the event. Apart from the corner marshals we need people to marshal cars at the top and bottom of the track. ENTRIES TO THE EVENT Have been extended to the 28th of April - so if you're thinking of running please get your entry in.
