12.01.2022 Wow what a weekend of racing down at Great Southern Kart Club for the 2018 WA Dirt Kart State Titles. Congratulations to all drivers who competed over the weekend. Spectators who where there got treated to some fantastic racing. But special mention to the Junior Competitors their racing this weekend was fantastic, and the sportsmanship demonstration in this class was something for them to be very proud of! Well done guys and girls! Special congratulations driving for the Ke...n & Ces Foundation at the 2018 Western Australian Dirt Kart State Title regardless of their finishing position (we know some drivers had a weekend to forget) Ryan Crofts 6th Place Junior Light Boston Camarri 19th Place Junior Light Jack Williamson - 4th Place Junior Heavy Cody Morgani - 8th Place Junior Heavy Jayden Rice 9th Place Junior Heavy Rhys Cumming 12th Place Junior Heavy & Winner of the Junior Sportsmanship Award!!! Joe Chalmers WA1 200cc Open, WA2 100cc Open & WA2 KT Medium Jason Curtis 22nd Place KT Medium, KT Twin awaiting results Matt Bain - 14th Place KT Heavy, 20th Place 125cc Heavy Jason White After a nasty accident in the 200cc Open Race he was taken to hospital. He is now at home recovering. We wish Jason a very speedy recovery, and hope to see him back trackside very soon. Unfortunately Sally McDougall was unable to compete this weekend due to an injury, and we wish Sally a very speedy recovery!! It was great to see Sally at the track over the weekend. Congratulations to Great Southern Kart Club, and all Officials & Volunteers. There is no much work that goes on behind the scenes, so thank you for your time and efforts. Everyone’s attention will now focus on this weekends Australian Dirt Kart Title hosted by Great Southern Kart Club. We would like to wish all competitors, pit crew, parents, officials and GSKC a successful National Title. And remember to travel safe!
