17.01.2022 G'day everyone.. Well where we live (Victoria, Australia) is going into Stage 4 lock down as of tonight. Tomorrow we will find out if we as a business can still operate, and more importantly ship our items.... We currently need to take our postage to a depot that is not within our restriction boundries. *TENTATIVELY* So unless by some miracle we find out tomorrow that we can still get orders out, as of Tuesday the 4th Augast 2020, Kenay Kustoms will not be taking any further orders for immediate shipment, there will be a 6 week delay. More details tomorrow when our premier annouces rules around working restrictions.

12.01.2022 We get a lot of messages regarding time frames on back orders. We are almost finished with may orders, everything you see on the bench has been sold to backorders. If you're wanting an item but are waiting for it to come in stock, it might not happen! Place a backorder to secure your item.... We're working hard on having more of our items injection moulded but due to the delays everywhere in the last 6 months, we just have to deal with what we have. Rest assured we're working as fast as possible, but safely. If I do too many hours there'll be even more delays! 10.01.2022 Ok let me explain. As anyone with a GU patrol would know the factory stereo location is less than desirable with the new larger screens on the market. Luckly this is something ive wanted to change in the GU4 wagon for a long time. This week I finally was given the green light to do whatever was needed to make an Alpine Halo 9 fit in the top pocket.... The objective for me was simple, how can I do this without a future customer having to make 1 single cut. This is how I made that happen. So yes next year kits will be available to suit all popular single Din chassis floating screens including the @stingeraustralia Elev8.

08.01.2022 G'day! I just wanted to thank all the customers that have stood by me this year. This was my first year full time at Kenay Kustoms and what a year it was. I've made some changes this year to how we operate - the big one being no more backorders. Given that a majority of our items currently require a decent amount of labour to obtain a finished product, orders were backing up faster than I could get them out. I still have two customers waiting on items from July orders (which ...frankly is embarrassing), but with stock shortages, delays from 3rd parties and extended Stage 4 lockdown in Melbourne, it certainly hasn't been the first year I expected. STOCK I receive several messages a day about whether we have items in stock. To stay up to date with stock levels we recommend signing up to our stock notifier on each product page on our website. You can do this by entering your email address. Once items are in stock you will receive an email, but fair warning, stock goes extremely fast (within a couple of hours). To overcome customers missing out we will be introducing a preorder facility on products nearing completion. This way you will know to keep an eye on your emails. POSITIVE NEWS Next year will bring some exciting changes: We've invested further into mass production which will see our GU123 and GU4 "ute" Patrol lower panels readily available world-wide with higher quality, and of course Australian Made. We will be running a special preorder on these once we can confirm dates. Two projects that have been delayed this year are still very much going ahead: - Two Gauge Territory Panel We have a batch of 30 printed up and have almost completed the 1st one. It takes a considerable amount of time to work out the best way to produce these items as well as perform with high quality and functionality. All of our products go through the same testing processes and we make ongoing improvements so we can not only speed up the process, but pass on the savings to our customers. -PX1 Ranger iDrive Mount and 6 Switch Panel This one is 90% there, further improvements are being made to the overall design. Although this has been in a protype vehicle for 6 months, it does need refinement until I'm happy for it to fit the Kenay Kustoms name. We strive for nothing less than excellent quality. 07.01.2022 Heres some pics from a 2017 #volkswagen #amarok. Job was to install a #redarc towpro elite, quickly things changed when the customer wanted the factory trailer plug positioned elswhere as they keep smashing it offroad. Things went ugly when we found the factory wiring was corroded and all plugs were rusted out.... We replaced the rear wiring harness section while keeping the CANBUS happy and moved the factory trailer plug bracket to the top side of the cross bar. We were also asked to provide some power to the rear and tray.

04.01.2022 We're Staying open! No click'n'collect! But we are using this time to change a few things. 1. We will no longer be on the "back-order" system. If an item is in stock, you can buy it. If it is not, you cannot.... We've gone up to 10 weeks on back-ordered items with customers paying upfront, this is not happening any more! The new website will have a wish list an notify you when the item goes into stock. 2. Custom designs, yes we will still be doing this however we are now charging a $100 retainer to get started. 3.
