I had a few minutes of shear stress this morning when my square reader wouldn’t connect but thanks to hubby’s tech support over the phone it all worked out. 17.01.2022 NEW ARTWORK ‘Hide and Seek’ is my newest illustration featuring our beloved platypus. I drew this a little while ago and then lost it, if you saw my desk you would understand , anyway it turned up recently and I coloured it using my Wacom tablet and photoshop.... This is a playful, happy little illustration but sadly our iconic platypus is in danger of becoming extinct due to a range of factors including our severe droughts we have been experiencing during 2020 and land clearing. These little guys are difficult to track successfully due to their secretive and nocturnal nature. The loss of this unique creature would be devastating. 06.01.2022 After the Christmas Market at The Farm yesterday I am feeling very grateful to so many people. Firstly to Shelagh @shelaghbrennand for having the vision of a market at the farm and her tireless efforts to make it a success. To Rashida Cottrell and Alex Cottrell and their 6 amazing children for all the work they did to make the day so special. To my Hubby, Darren Ide for helping me set up and listening to all my indecision’s on what stock to order/take.... To all the volunteers on the day and there were so many, helping us set up tents, directing traffic, manning the coffee shop, selling raffle tickets, wrapping presents etc To all the stall holders who got up early to display their wonderful local products. To my wonderful customers, some who were shopping with me for the first time and to my lovely, supportive return customers. This community event was a great success and it was so lovely to be a part of it.
