22.01.2022 This blue Queenslander was relocated from Cooparoo to Boonah, restumped and renovated. The renovation included the verandah, new stairs both at the front of the house and back, new kitchen and bathroom, restoration of old wall and floor boards, restorations of the original doors and windows and a new fence. We were able to create a modern country home without removing the unique characteristics of the original house.

13.01.2022 We worked with the owners to ensure that their vision for the farmhouse to keep as much of its original character was achieved. We recycled a lot of the original timber without compromising on quality or structural integrity. This home is the perfect blend of classic Australian charm and modern style. We loved being a part of this amazing project. The dwelling consisted of three buildings which were home to a mixture of different room types across all three buildings. The... renovation would create a kitchen, living room and bedroom building. All buildings were restumped, stripped of termite damage and racked to plumb (straightened). They were treated to new gutters; 4 new hardwood staircases and where required, hardwood weather boards were used externally to match the originals. Kitchen The termite damage in the original kitchen was too extensive and the building had to be demolished. We built new frames to incorporate casement windows which was surrounded by regency panels on the internal walls. We used hardwood weatherboards on the exterior and the building received a new roof. We also laid American Oak floorboards with a wire brush finish. Living Room This building was severely damaged by termites and was 20cm off plumb. Once we had removed the damaged timber and straightened the building it received new internal and external joists. Ironbark decking was laid on the wrap around verandah. New wall frames were constructed in the living room and adjoining bathroom. Pine VJ boards were used on the walls and ceiling in the living room to match the original boards that remained. American Oak floorboards with a wire brush finish were laid in the living room. Bedrooms This building was stripped back, and new wall frames were constructed turning the 4 small bedrooms into 3 with a spacious master bedroom. The original decking was restored using the recycled boards from the living room building. The internal pine floorboards were patched and sanded. Regency panels were used on the walls and ceilings of the bedrooms. The laundry was restored using the recycled wall and ceiling boards from the bedrooms and recycled decking from the living room building. 12.01.2022 When we started on this old house it was just a touch up job however as we worked the owners fell in love with its charm. The house received new Hardwood H4 stumps to the perimeter and the centre stumps were packed to level. The exterior received custom built window hoods, replacement of front deck and landing with mixed Australian Hardwood, replacement of front and rear staircase and new doors including double entry doors. The interior received a new kitchen, new bathroom, the vinyl and old floorboards were removed and replaced with Blackbutt flooring, sections of the floorboards were restored and polished and custom-built wardrobe for the master bedroom.

10.01.2022 These two modular houses were installed on this rural property, perfect for a B&B getaway! The installation involved the construction of a galvanised sub-floor, positioning of containers and construction of decks and roof systems. The first is a 2-bedroom dwelling with a large deck. The second is a 1-bedroom dwelling with a deck.
