24.01.2022 Chicken Carbonara with Zucchini spirals and the Raiders. Not bad for a Sunday night!

23.01.2022 HEALTHY RECIPE TIME Prawn Korma with Coconut Cauli Rice (Serves 2 - 257 cal per serve) This was dinner on Sunday night and it was deliciousness in a bowl!!... Ingredients: Cauliflower 'rice' (240g) (see previous recipe on how to make this), desiccated coconut (10g), finely chopped shallots (30g), minced garlic (10g), minced ginger (5g), lite coconut milk (200ml), korma paste (20g), raw prawns (200g), greek yoghurt (25g), baby spinach (25g). Method: 1. Fry cauliflower rice and desiccated coconut until cauliflower is tender. 2. Saute the shallots, garlic and ginger until lightly golden. **TIP - don't use oil to saute, use water!** 3. Add the korma paste, stirring for a minute and then add coconut milk. Bring to the boil, turn down and simmer for 10 minutes. 4. Add the prawns and simmer until prawns are cooked. 5. One prawns are cooked, stir in yoghurt and spinach. 6. Heat up cauliflower rice in the microwave, divide into two bowls and then add prawn korma on top. Make sure you divide prawns evenly! You don't want to miss out!

22.01.2022 Hey guys, Following the latest govt. updates, I am now only able to train one person at a time, hence new COVID Kombat format as follows: I'll be out on the training paddock at Barton Monday from 10am til 2pm running eight 30 minute individual sessions... You will receive a personal session at no extra cost, but I need to fill all eight blocks Please help me fill each block and keep my business alive First in best dressed. Hopefully we can all be a little flexible with time slots If all goes well, we will keep going Monday, Wednesday and Fridays Let me know what times you can do - please choose a few different time-slots as there will obviously be some swaps and changes made. 21.01.2022 PRICE ADJUSTMENT Hi all, It’s been nearly four years since my last price adjustment, so it’s time to update things in order to keep Kessey Kombat running.... After positive consultation with some long-time Kombatians, as of 1 July 2019, I’ll be upping the cost of each session by $2 for single sessions and $1 for five and ten session bundles. New prices as follows: $14 per class (single session) Barton group only: $50 - Five session pass - valid one month $90 - Ten session pass - valid three months Have a good long weekend and see you out there next week.

13.01.2022 HEALTHY RECIPE TIME Pear, Feta and Chicken Salad (209 cal) Bel made up this salad and she loves it. It's salty and sweet all at the same time!!... Ingredients: Sliced baby spinach (22g), chopped danish feta (15g), finely chopped or grated (or both) pear (80g), diced chicken (120g), herbs and spices. Method: 1. Cook diced chicken with herbs and spices 2. Add chicken to other salad ingredients and eat!!

03.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all my Kombatians. Thanks for a great year. I've seen a lot of you make great progress. To those who I haven't seen much lately, make next year a new start. Whether it be through Kessey Kombat or other means, I'm always here for advice. Make it happen!!! Get healthy and be happy. Time to stop making excuses. Excuses are plentiful, but that's all they are, excuses. If it's important to you, then you'll make time for it. Being fit and healthy should be everyo...ne's priority. If you don't have your health, you have NOTHING!! The only real way to do this is through healthy eating and REGULAR exercise. No pill or shake is going to give you healthy sustainable weight loss...that's a FACT!!! Like I said, I'm here for advice anytime. Have a great New Year!!!

01.01.2022 HEALTHY RECIPE TIME Zucchini Spaghetti with pine nuts, spinach and bacon (Serves 2 - 242 cal per serve) Another delicious Sunday meal to get us ready for a healthy week!... Ingredients: Spiralised zucchini (300g), pine nuts (20g), diced bacon (50g), baby spinach (150g), crumbled feta (65g). Method: 1. Half fill a saucepan with water and add sprialised zucchini. Once the water begins to boil, remove from heat and drain water from zucchini. 2. Add pine nuts and bacon to pan and fry until lightly browned. Tip into a bowl and return pan to heat. 3. Add spinach to pan and cook until spinach has wilted then add half of the feta and stir until the feta melts. 5. Add zucchini to spinach mix and toss together. 6. Divide into two bowls and add half the bacon and pine nut mix and feta to each bowl. 7. Season with salt and pepper and eat!!
