24.01.2022 A big Thank-You to the Rotary Club of Emerald for the invitation to the official opening of the all abilities playground on the weekend. This great new addition to the Emerald community is located opposite the Emerald hospital and has been designed to help develop the physical, cognitive, sensory and social skills in children of all abilities in a safe environment. Kestrel are proud of the support we could provide the Rotary Club of Emerald for this project and look forward to seeing the local families enjoy it.

22.01.2022 We love our town - Why don't you come for a visit. The majority of our site-based people live in Emerald, which is a town of around 15,000 people from all backgrounds; it is not just another mining town. Emerald is located in the central highlands of Queensland 271kms west of Rockhampton. Originally an agricultural town, Emerald is surrounded by cotton, cattle, sunflower and citrus fruit farms. Emerald is one of Queensland’s larger rural centres offering a range of cafés and ...restaurants, seven primary schools and three high schools, a racecourse, aquatic centre, seven gyms, a golf course, a BMX track, cricket/netball/touch, Rugby Union and League fields, a wide variety of retail outlets and shopping centres, hardware and car dealers. Emerald has its own airport with multiple daily flights direct to Brisbane.
