11.01.2022 Welcome to Crystal And Pearls Bikinis. Here's a selection of bikinis I've made since last May (2017). I originally started to make them for my daughter as she wanted to enter a fitness modelling competition on the Gold Coast. I had never made any type of swimsuit before, so this was a real challenge, particularly since patterns for the platform top are non existent, (triangle top patterns are plentiful). There are also none available for the pro competition shape required for... the bottom. So I designed my own patterns out of need and found I was pretty good at it. I'm now living in a coastal Village that has lots of weekend tourists, and is overflowing with holiday makers in peak holiday periods. So it makes sense for me to start making bikinis for purchase by locals and visitors. Each piece will have a reasonable cost of from $30, and can be purchased as separate items, top or bottom. Also, each piece will have some kind of embellishment, unless you want something specially made to your own taste, such as boho. My retail bikinis will be unique since they're not factory made. Competition bikinis are also available. There will be some pre made, or you can order either a basic foundation bikini for fitness modelling comp, or a fully embellished bikini. Foundation bikinis (embellish yourself) will cost from $30 per piece, depending on size, style and fabric. Embellished bikinis will have a price range starting at $190, depending on the amount and type of embellishment. For instance, the bikini worn by my daughter would cost in the region of $700.
