21.01.2022 I love seeing customer photos and this no exception. Such a cutie looking so adorable in her Girls Stinger Suit with skirt attached, all set for Summer! . Just a message from her Mum after sewing yet another stinger suit...This is my 4th stinger suit and I think I've nailed that zip now. Didn't need the video for this one and I've got plans for 3 more! If you haven't tried this one yet...do it! If you haven't sewn a zip and want to learn then I absolutely think the video that goes with these instructions is worth the $$ for the pattern alone.

16.01.2022 The lovely Samantha from LittleJem Handmade has been sending me the most beautiful photographs of suits that she has been making from our Stinger Suit Pattern with the zip inserted up the back. I asked Samantha if she would be able to capture some pics of the process the next time she made one and put a few instructions with them. Yay she has been able to do this for us. 16.01.2022 We have just returned from going camping for a few days. We had a powered site, so I took my sewing machine. I ummmed and ahhhed about it so much but glad I did! The kids were so entertained by the morning and afternoon craft and making friends in the great outdoors, that I finally got some time to try out the FREE Dilly Bag pattern by @daydreampatterns It is the cutest little bag and I am addicted making them now! Great instructions and fabulous results. Theres a sneaky little pic in the bunch of me taking a break to feed the Lorikeets. They were so gorgeous! Such vibrant colours.

12.01.2022 Never thought Id ever have the need to make or wear these little suckers! This is a call out to all Aussies that can sew. I have been watching my sewing groups sewing these for American medical staff, that are running short of supply, for the past 2 weeks. I have been following the patterns and fabrics that they have been making them out of. Thinking to myself I wonder if anyone here in Australia will need them too. ... Well it is that time. Our doctors and nurses have masks but are having to ration them / stretch them out as much as possible and at the moment they not sure how they are going to make them last. We know these are not as effective as surgical masks but they sure are better than nothing at all. These masks are actually designed to be worn over the top of surgical masks to increase their lifespan. We are making two sizes (Mens and Ladies) Optional ties or elastic. Optional 2/3 layer cotton or poly/cotton. Optional pocket / no pocket for filters. This was on a walk with Grandad, at a social distance. Its the only way we can see him and as he lives on his own we do not want to go inside his house and contaminate things! He walks daily so this is a great alternative. .... . For the kids, I sized down the AB Nurse mask, it also has a nose wire and filter pocket, which are not in the pattern. This pattern is perfection The July box pattern for a Rash guard and bottoms set is freaking amazing. It has sooo many cup sizes so no need for small or full busy adjustments. Which is a dream come true for most of us. The sizing was exact to the measurements for me. I made the short sleeve version lengt...hened by an inch or so to hit just where I like and out of the 1 5/8 yards of print swim fabric that will be in every box I had a good size piece left. 01.01.2022 Are you getting excited? We are :) The Revised Stinger Suit Pattern Releases tomorrow and there are so many options in this pattern. Shown in this photo is the Sleeveless Full Bodysuit with zipper and this style is now a favourite in our house. Miss 9 is loving black too much these days, so this we felt this fabric and pattern was a compromise and we are both loving how it turned out. Fabric by Missy Rose has just had a make over and we adore the new look of the website. Such beautiful fabrics to choose from.
