23.01.2022 BACK TO SCHOOL Education is set for a big 2019 as local school numbers grow to cope with the influx of new families across the region. Biggest growth is at Marist College at Maiden Gully where 980 students will be in attendance. Other numbers are: Crusoe College=620, Maiden Gully Primary = 556, Golden Square Primary = 400, Saint Monica's Primary = 325, Big Hill Primary = 280, Kangaroo Flat Primary = 264, Lockwood Primary = 137, Bendigho Special Development School, 118, Lockwood South Primary = 24

18.01.2022 CHRISTMAS BONANZA Belvoir Park Golf Club has hosted the 2018 Christmas Bonanza which was sponsored by Bertocchi Smallgoods and won by local duo Josh Metherall and Ryan Evans with 50 points. Other good scores came from Ken Morrison/Angus Park on 48 and Ian Kellett/David Baird with 47. Several PGA Professionals took to the fairways at Belvoir Park in the big field of 188 players.

16.01.2022 Huge Golf Day at Belvoir Park A big field of 188 golfers took to the fairways at Belvoir Park for the Christmas Bonanza. The day was huge success for the club and attracted several PGA professionals including Andrew Martin, Kris Mueck, Garth George and Robert Stephens.The Kangaroo Flat and District Community Enterprise proudly sponsored the 7th Hole Super Pin and local member Ken Morrison scored an ''eagle'' to claim the prize!

Our magnificent swimming pool was officially opened on Friday October 26 2018 ...and today marks six months since the opening of our $32 million pool complex. 03.01.2022 In case you missed it, in June 2020, the Kangaroo Flat Library will relocate from its present High Street address to the former Senior Citizens building at 21 Lockwood Road. The Lockwood Road premises will undergo a $1.38M redevelopment to provide a 50 per cent larger, centrally located library facility to service Kangaroo Flat’s growing community well into the future.
