The successful applicants will be expected to... have open availability to work a spread of shifts across weekdays, weeknights, and weekends. The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to treat the department as if it were their own business. They will be given the flexibility to tailor the stores service and products offering to meet the specific needs of the customers within the local area. Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate: Fresh food retail knowledge and Deli (preferred) An understanding of ordering, cost control and gross profit Accurate team rostering will be an advantage Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach Unparalleled commitment to customer service A flair for merchandising Commitment to work health and safety standards Display a passion for fresh food within the grocery retail industry Express a positive "can do" attitude Able to problem solve, lead by example and motivate your team Communicate effectively with management, team members, customers and external stakeholders Required: Strong communication, customer service skills and a passion to provide an exceptional shopping experience Willingness to embrace Khan’s IGA Culture Friendly, approachable and positive team player Excellent presentation skills Evening and weekend work will be required You will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration based on your experience.
