Its been an incredible first season for these girls, with their skills and confidence growing each week thanks to the superb coaching of Cindy Brookfield. Congrats - youve done our Club very proud. Such wonderful role models for our community, Ashton and Brett delivered a very important message to our players about looking after their own mental health and that of those around them. 14.01.2022 Given the tough time currently facing our community, the Kiama Junior Knights have teamed up with Mental Health Movement to host an awareness session that will give our players (Under 13s and up), their parents and coaches insight into how they can better manage their own mental health, and help support their friends or family who might be struggling. The session will be run by Ashton Sims, former Kiama High School student who went on to play for St George Illawarra Dragons, ...Brisbane Broncos and North Queensland Cowboys, as well as local surfing identify Brett Connellan, who was attacked by a great white shark while surfing at Bombo Beach back in 2016. The 30-minute session will be held at Kiama Showground on Thursday 27 August from 5pm. Ashton and Brett will then be available to answer any questions our players might have. Plus therell be some cool Starting the Conversation promotion items for sale including Budgy Smugglers, which will help to fund future community such as this. It will be open to all players from our Under 13s to Under 16s rugby league and league tag teams. We hope to see you there!

12.01.2022 We’ve certainly got two of the best fields in Australia, with Chittick Oval and the Kiama Showground looking superb yesterday for the November 9s women’s rugby league competition! There was plenty of great footy played by all of the teams, with clubs from Helensburgh down to Milton-Ulladulla and out to Camden taking part. Our Under 17 girls played hard and with a lot of spirit, despite going down in both of their games and having one of their players break her wrist - hopi...ng for a speedy recovery Isla! Thanks to the Play Rugby League South Coast Development team for putting on such a great tournament and to all our volunteers who helped to run the day!

01.01.2022 The Kiama Junior Knights RLFC were Honoured to have Anthony Griffin speak at our Corporate function last night held at the Kiama Leagues Club. He spoke to our Coaches, Committee and some Life Members about Junior Footy, life, and how excited he is about the future of Rugby League. 01.01.2022 Plenty of alligator mince meat sung in Gerringong tonight with our Under 10 GLT team winning a nail biter 38-32, and the Under 14s winning 52-0. The girls had a such blast playing under lights, well have to see if we can line-up some more Friday night local derbies!
