04.01.2022 SloMo kicking Filming your kick is a great way to learn what you do well and what you can work on. Sometimes though, it can be difficult to see your RFI’s at normal speed, try filming your kick in slow motion and it may help you pick up little areas you may not have noticed before. #KDeducation #KDdevelopment

02.01.2022 Simple adjustments can make a huge difference swipe across to see the slight adjustment we made with Velayus’ ball drop. The first picture shows Velayus gripping the ball up the top and at the back of the ball. This causes players to bend the elbow and raise the ball before dropping. This creates a lot more variables to go wrong . The second picture shows Velayus gripping the ball around the side and around 3/4’s up on the ball. The elbow is straight and he has a lot ...more control on his drop. By doing this, he is simplifying his technique, creating accuracy, consistency and power! 02.01.2022 Goal Kicking Routine : Why is it important 1: makes it easier 2: helps with consistency 3: takes the guess work out of the process ... 4: makes us feel more in control which helps with the mental side Simple process: Mark where the player on the mark is. Count how many steps you need to kick the ball from so the player in the mark isn’t an issue. Count how many steps you need for your run up. If you connect all the dots, you will have a straight line towards the goal! @tye_gander doing his routine in practice which helped him kick 10 goals on the weekend! #KDdevelopment #KDeducation
