22.01.2022 Date night is officially back at our centre! The children had a blast hanging out with Miss Nancy and Miss Mell. They played, built pillow forts and watched a movie. We had so much fun hosting date night and can’t wait until the next one!

At KidCademy, we recognise the transition from Kindergarten to School is a big step for our little people and have created a Kindergarten program to ensure that our children are fully equipped for the next steps in not only their education but also, their life. Our Kindergarten program based on The Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines is a government approved quality ...Kindergarten Program designed for children from 3 to 5 years of age. This is the foundation of Early Childhood Education and we aim to prepare your children for school by providing endless opportunities to learn and grow in an environment created to help each individual child reach their full potential. KidCademy recognises the value and richness of play as a stimulus for children’s learning and qualified teachers and educators promote their ongoing engagement in meaningful and school readiness experiences. In addition to our Kindergarten program, we have also put together an extra-curricular program to equip our kindergarten with the skills to succeed in their journey beyond our doors. Our extra-curricular program includes: Swimming and water safe lessons - In our sunny state, swimming and water safe education as an essential skill for all children and we endeavour for all of our graduating class members to be adept in this life skill. Tennis Lessons Dance and Music Programs Language Classes Science Lessons Our Kindy children will also be exposed to a host of out of class learning experiences in 2021 with our very own dedicated excursion bus which will regularly be visiting local centres, museums and other educational facilities We look forward to welcoming you to our centre and discussing these programs further with you and your family. 16.01.2022 The Toddler Investigators have been learning about how to care for their environment. To extend on this learning the children have been caring for their very own marigold plant. The children have been watering the plant and practicing using their 'gentle hands' when touching it. Learning Outcome: 1.3 Children develop knowledgable and confident self-identities. 2.4 Children become socially responsible and show respect for the environment.... 4.4 Children resource their own learning through connecting with people, place, technologies and natural and processed materials. 15.01.2022 Recently in the Toddler Investigators room the children have been investigating paint using different mediums. The children have experimented with balloons, fly swatters, marbles, tooth brushes and left over Halloween decorations. Learning Outcomes: EYLF 4.2 Children develop a range of skills and processes such as problem solving, inquiry, experimentation, hypothesising, researching and investigating. EYLF 5.3 Children express ideas and make meaning using a range of media.

14.01.2022 Happy Grandparents Day! Our center will be celebrating with a very special afternoon tea tomorrow afternoon.

13.01.2022 At KidCademy Early Learning one of our main focuses is teaching children how to keep themselves and others safe. Today we fundraised for the Daniel Morcombe Foundation by wearing red and having some red heart face painting.

13.01.2022 This Friday we will be celebrating World children’s day with water play! Make sure to bring your swimmers for a day of water filled fun.

12.01.2022 To raise funds for the RSPCA our children will be decorating cupcakes and hearts. These will be available in the foyer for a gold coin donation on 26/10/20. We will have donation jars around the centre as well as our fundraising page below. We would love your support!

11.01.2022 On Monday the children in Kindy Explorers raised funds for the RSPCA by decorating some spooky cupcakes. The children worked hard to make their icing before adding edible eyes to their creations. The children were very excited to see their cupcakes in the foyer in the afternoon. 10.01.2022 What better way to spend our Saturday then some team building at Escape Hunt Brisbane. Our team had a ball working together to solve clues and escape rooms of differing difficulties.

08.01.2022 As part of the Queensland Kindergarten program the children in the Kindy Explorers room engage in a range of different experiences to extend on their learning in the room. Today the Kindy Explorers took their learning about the letter Z outdoors where they made their very own dinosaur Zoo’s. The children engaged in discussions about what their Zoo would require, such as food, water and trees. It was wonderful seeing the children’s imaginations at play and their knowledge of protecting their environment through this experience.

04.01.2022 To celebrate International Children's Day we engaged in a centre wide water play day. The children had lots of fun playing in our outdoor water play area. The younger children enjoyed playing with a water tray containing water toys. What a fantastic day!
