25.01.2022 AHHH , NDIS.. Have an email saying I was approved back in October 2016, but alas still nothing! Patience and more following up required.

21.01.2022 It feels like Christmas at AAM HQ!!! We have just unpacked the size 1 Leckey Mygo Stander that was donated by Flagon & Dragon Mackay!!! This piece of equipme...nt cost them $6,477.70 and will help young children who can not stand independently to stand in a safe and supported position to strengthen muscles and experience a position other than lying and sitting. Families do have access to funding for equipment like this, but they need a lengthy trial period to ascertain if it's even suitable. We also have children accessing our equipment at schools as parents generally can only get funding for one piece of equipment... so they either send it to school and go without at home... or keep it home and don't have access to one at school. This purchase will mean more options for local families and children. Thanks to Flagon and Dragon Mackay See more

20.01.2022 Knowledge is power. Physios are educating the youth of Australia that exercise is extremely important to health, not just at an early age, but all throughout the life span. This knowledge can empower people to manage their health as they grow older. #choosephysio www.choose.physio

19.01.2022 Today marks the official start of Tradies National Health Month! We kicked off bright and early at the RSEA Safety Australia store in Essendon Fields. Thanks to... all the physios, tradies, friends and family that came down to join us in the cold. Special thanks to our partners STEEL BLUE Boots, SKINS, Bridge Australia, WorkSafe Victoria, APA physio Karen Fitt and her team from Melbourne Hand Rehab, LaManna Supermarket for the fresh fruit, Xpress mobile coffee van and Digging with Fire food truck for their delicious breaky burgers. This event couldnt have been made possible without APA physio Dave Hall for running our new age tradie worksite! Here are some pictures of the activities we had running this morning and the great prizes that were won! Join us next year! See more

03.01.2022 There are two types of sports injuries: traumatic and overuseor acute and chronic. An injury that occurs suddenly, such as a sprained ankle caused by an awkwar...d landing, is known as an acute injury. Chronic injuries are caused by repeated overuse of muscle groups or joints and include cramps, tears and strains. With increased exposure to sport in the adolescence period, there is higher risk of overusing the muscles, tendons and bones. Sports physiotherapists ares trained in planning and teaching exercises that address musculoskeletal strength and flexibility factors that predispose people to injury. By identifying deficiency in strength and flexibility, they will prescribe exercises to address these issues and prevent further injury. #choosephysio for sporting injuries in adolescents. See more
