22.01.2022 One of the questions I get asked a lot is whether the contents of the plate crate are dishwasher safe. The answer is absolutely YES. A hot soapy bucket of water is also an option! We do ask that items are returned thoroughly dry.

19.01.2022 Parties are slowly returning, and over the weekend, plate crate number 160 was hired out! Each plate crate contains 180 items (30 plates, 30 bowls, 30 cups, 30 sets of cutlery) so I would estimate that well over 16,000 single use items have been saved from landfill by people choosing to hire rather than purchase these party items!

18.01.2022 Hi All! As some of you may already be aware, I have made the decision to pass the Kids' Corner baton on to another eco-conscious mum, Jenniifer Ackland. I am sure that Jen will do amazing things with this little business and I look forward to watching it continue to grow with her input. I also want to say THANK YOU to you all - in the past 2.5 years I have hired out over 180 plate crates, saving up to 30,000 pieces of plastic from landfill! It is wonderful to have been able ...to help people do their bit to reduce waste and reduce our reliance on single-use plastic. I've met so many lovely people and will genuinely miss the little chats I've been having each week. Jen is officially the main point of contact for any hire queries from this point forward, although I will continue to monitor the inbox for another week or so if you have any questions for me!
