24.01.2022 In our Peaceful Kids group this we did a Glitter in a Jar exercise. We talked about how the swirling glitter represents our thoughts and feelings that are going on in our minds all the time. We learnt that mindfulness exercises allows us to have a clearer mind and allows our ‘swirling’ thoughts to settle.



24.01.2022 The last session for the children was a lot of fun. Their take home bag included activities and sensory tools to remind them to be mindful.

14.01.2022 Feedback from the parents and children about the Peaceful Kids program has been very positive and encouraging.

12.01.2022 Recently we learnt about Mindful Belly Breathing and the importance of breathing deeply to calm down and relax.



07.01.2022 This week we learnt about using practical and expressive coping strategies to help us manage our emotions. We thought of lots of great ways to do this e.g. Deep belly breathing, going for a walk, playing with a pet, talking to someone about how you are feeling.

04.01.2022 We are excited to be offering the Peaceful Kids program again in Term 4!
