08.01.2022 Educator of the month is to showcase the amazing work Early Childhood educators do in guiding and educating children every day. Congrats to our educator Nina for achieving this award. Nina has been working with us since the beginning of this year. She has established a wonderful relationship with the children, families and her team members. ... She works mostly in Kindy room and is very fluent in French. She is currently working towards her diploma and is always showing passion in her work. 01.01.2022 As part of our centre cultural appreciation of events throughout the year, we had the opportunity to learn more about Diwali with Shayan’s mum Sarah , educator Mohawna and educator Pratik. Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is an Indian festival of lights that is widely celebrated. It is a festival that signifies "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance." This year Diwali falls on Saturday, 14th November 2020. We learn about the Hindu cultu...re with creating Rangoli. Henna painting , tasting Indians sweets like gulab jamun, and having butter chicken for lunch. We fall silent ourselves to remember those soldiers who did not come home from war.
