20.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day! God our father, we give you thanks and praise for fathers young and old. We pray for young fathers, newly embracing their vocation; may they find courage and perseverance to balance work, family and faith in joy and sacrifice. We pray for our own fathers around the world whose children are lost or suffering; ... may they know that the God of compassion walks with them in their sorrow. We pray for men who are not fathers but still mentor and guide us with fatherly love and advice. We remember fathers, grandfathers, and great grandfathers who are no longer with us but who live forever in our memory and nourish us with their love. Amen

15.01.2022 Lord Jesus Christ, you are called the Prince of Peace, who so often said, Peace to you; grant us peace. Make all men and women witnesses of truth, justice, and agape love. Banish from their hearts whatever might endanger peace. Enlighten our leaders that they may guarantee and defend the great gift of peace.... May all peoples of the earth become as brothers and sisters. May longed-for peace blossom forth and reign always over us all. Amen. St. John XXIII

14.01.2022 School Bus changes to Route S143 apply from Monday 14 September 2020.

13.01.2022 In 2019 an estimated 5.2 million children under 5 years old died from preventable and treatable causes. (WHO) Luke 18:15-17 But Jesus called the children to him and said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.... Heavenly Father, we pray for the poorest and most vulnerable of children. Let us not just speak of justice, but let us act in just ways. Amen.

12.01.2022 We pray for non-violence of heart and mind, in the spirit of Jesus and Nano.

Interview your mum, carer, aunty, or a woman you know who is part of the workforce here in Australia. Find out what she had to do to get her job, what is required of her, and generally what she gets back in return. 01.01.2022 It's R U OK?Day, a reminder that every day is a day to start a conversation that could change a life. Today we're calling on Australians to learn what to say after R U OK? so they can keep the conversation going when someone says they're not OK. There's more to say after R U OK? Learn what to say when listening with an open mind Learn what to say when encouraging action... Learn what to say when checking in Learn how to continue a conversation that could change a life. When we know what to say next we can help someone open up and find pathways to support long before they're in crisis. Learn what to say next and help us move closer to our vision of a world where we're all connected and are protected from suicide. Head to www.ruok.org.au/how-to-ask See more
