25.01.2022 It’s been a minute since we have posted. Been absolutely flat stick busier than a lizard drinking! Just completed in house at KBM this week was John Ricca’s (RACE PARTS MELBOURNE) immaculate VL! This car has been into the 7s at drag challenge 2018 and is a very well known car around the country. It was time for the RB to take a rest and get amongst the LS scenery! So here we are.... We started off with a pair of Garrett G42 1450 turbochargers (yes, a rediculous 2900 horsepowe...r worth of turbocharger!!), a custom vertical feed 100mm custom intercooler from Plazmaman Racing, 2 x turbosmart pro gate wastegate and 2 x turbosmart raceport a bovs. With the bay already being painted we had to be extra careful to plan this job out so we didn’t have to go to town on the already finished foundation. - We used our off the shelf 4 into 1 VB-VS 4 into turbo manifolds and custom built the intermediate sections with the turbochargers positioned as required where they needed to go. EGT Bungs and EMAP Bungs added - the whole factory lower radiator support was axed, and a custom price fitted and bolted to the rails in its place so that the radiator could be positioned in its new home air closer to the engine than factory. - the intercooler as always is a hell of a lot of work and strategic planning done by sam to get the outlet orientation right and racked up. We jigged the outlet and sent back to Plazmaman to be welded/ported and finished. It was then sent back to us to have it final mounted and bracketry built to suit. - gates positioned to maximise ground clearance and also fetch priority, 2 x screamer pipes sorted also. - twin 3.5 dump pipes built to allow full lock and full steering to be retained. The dump pipes merge into a twin 3.5 to single 4 exhaust that is used for street driving. - bullhorn pipes were built for drag racing purposes which swap out in a minute of minutes after the exhaust is removed. - the whole intercooler system is plazmaclamped to ensure reliability when slamming 40 pounds of boost down the 427ci throat! - fabricated stainless drain lines built, along with a hand built scavenge reservoir as required with a remote mount turbo combo that operates below tide What a car this thing is, thanks John for giving us the job to get it done and all the best. We are absolutely pumped with work at the minute and I have a heap of messages to get back to I will return them all this week! All the people who I didn’t return calls to I apologise, it’s nothing personal, just very busy and overwhelmed with how much we have on at the minute and can only do so much in a day. Thanks from the team @ killaboost Manifolds

17.01.2022 Hi guys, killaboost manifolds checking in We have been working very hard the last couple months with our full team back at it working hard burning all of the pipe that there is to burn! As previous posts have stated, we are busier than ever and at one point fell 12 weeks behind when sam was injured. We have recovered but still quite a ways back from normal. Our workload increased by near triple every month since June, could say it’s been a bloody wild time to exist. Things in... our shop have taken longer than usual but we are getting through it. Pressure has been higher than ever but that’s always going to happen when such a large increase in workload occurs. We currently have a lot on and I apologise to anybody trying to get a hold of us, trying to get a quote etc as Answering the phone getting back to messages etc and being on the tools all week with the boys is not always possible with such a high work load. With what we have on at the moment I would say that’ll just about see the year out but still currently hard to tell if we will have time to squeeze anymore in before Xmas. Attached are some pics of current completed jobs..... 2 x VE GTX55 th400 1 x VT VZ T6 single gate 1 x VT VZ T6 split twin gate 2 x HQ T6 (recently completed 7 or 8 sets) 1 x VB VS universal twin *** and also some very cool modified factory fuel rails that we now stock (this is what we use and tested with our workute, no more leaking injector O rings!!) Darcy
16.01.2022 Hi guys. Bit of update from the team at killaboost manifolds. We are back working as a full team in full recovery mode after falling so far behind due to injuries and the most intense workload that we have ever seen in our existence. We are currently working harder than ever and everyone’s effort the last couple months has been unreal.... Big thanks to all our clients who have been super understanding about our situation the last couple months. There is a tonne of time and effort that goes into hand crafted metal fabrication and I really appreciate everyone being patient and working with me to get through the toughest workload that’s ever been out before us. However, have had a few guys get a little bit upset about timeframes. Again, I apologise but I do recall being super honest in my previous posts as soon as all this went down and I gave everybody plenty of notice. Ya can’t please em all can ya? This is another reason I paused taking more orders, just wanted to focus on getting it all done without adding more stress None the less, hooking in and getting plenty done, a few more big weeks and we will be all caught up hopefully and we can start taking orders again Here are some pictures from some recent jobs. - VE/VF T6 s400 4 into 1 suit glide/400 - VB/VS t4 4 into 1 many thanks Killaboost
14.01.2022 Clint drove down from Sydney to albury on Australia Day 2020 to pick up his vt-vz t4 turbo kit in person at the shop. We had a chat, talked some things out and here we are. We did Clint our off the shelf bolt on vt-vz Hotside kit with proboost’s custom s480/96 1.25 t4 turbocharger (same as what’s on our workute)... Clint has used a 100mm plazmaman LSX intercooler with custom pipework to suit. Standard bottom end 5.7, standard heads with upgraded camshaft and an e85 fuel system to suit. Power transmitted through TH400 591rwkw/793rwhp @ 16psi (hub) Tuned by CV performance Thanks, Killaboost
13.01.2022 Some VB/VS low ‘n’ forward universal twin turbo manifolds for josh king up in port macquarie NSW. All the best with the new project mate
13.01.2022 Pats tough VY clubsport R8 from Sydney in for a turbo kit. We used our VT-VZ hot side turbo kit with Proboost’s custom s480/96 t4 1.25 turbocharger. - T4 turbo manifolds and rear crossover... - 3.5 stainless dump pipe inc AFR bung - supply proboost s480/96 - supply Turbosmart 50mm progate - oil feed and return kit, sump removed and refitted to weld fitting in - supply and fit our catch can/overflow tank combination and inline filler neck to suit factory factory assembly - pipework blasted and coated black, dump pipe wrapped. Additional work..... - joined dump pipe into existing exhaust via custom 4 mild section to suit rear section. Single pipe joined to twin system using open style merge collector - supply and fit Plazmaman swept tank LSX 76mm 1200hp intercooler, custom mounts to suit the hsv front bar - 3 alloy intercooler piping fabricated, supplied all correct joiners and clamps, modified compressor outlet to come through the gaurd and dodge full lock. Intercooler piping built to retain factory foglights - pipework joined through drivers gaurd using a mitch tanti gaurd bulkhead. We also moves the elec ps pump to make room for the intercooler piping. While the car was here we chased up a complete factory AC system and fitted that while we were at it because why not. The car is now heading back to Sydney to have a few jobs tidied up before it gets tuned and finished off. Thanks Killaboost
11.01.2022 Been getting asked for a while now about a direct bolt on functional crankcase breather/catch can for the VE to go with our kits This is what we have come up specifically for the VE, haven’t tested one in the VF yet but should go in just the same (will test soon) they bolt directly to the cylinder head and work with factory loom route. While designing the tank we thought it would be neat to tidy those donkey dick looking heater hoses that flap on top of the engine from factor...y. You can retire those bad boys as our kit replaces those lines and runs then neatly up alongside the ABS bracket. Increase engine safety and tidy your bay up at the same time! - available with barb fittings to take the factory rocker cover breathers, or change up to AN10 (recommended for built motors) at no additional cost. - internally baffled - drain fitting at the bottom for getting rid of that sweat that forms over time - large ID breather ensures no restriction under harsh operating conditions - Hester hoses cut to length including clamps come with tank - takes all factory earth points - fitting instructions These catch cans fit with our intercooler piping and our BOV position with our turbo kits. Prices- Raw- 385 including GST and freight Powder coated black- add $25 We can also supply additional weld on fittings and an10 braided hose/fittings to complete your breather upgrade. Killaboost
11.01.2022 What a monster! Hell of a big job this one but we love the challlenging stuff. This vy clubsport belongs to Matt from Echuca service centre in Victoria. This car completed drag challenge last year but this year was time to step it up. The 88mm s400 Borgy was swapped out for the 98mm Garrett GTX55. I remember my first GTX55 into a commodore in 2015- it’s now 2020 and fuck me they are still fucking huge and heavy! This time round 1500hp is the target ... We got to work setting up the GTX55 into the already modified engine bay. The Manifolds are a design that we would always go for in this type of Combo, suits 6 bolt heads, crossover we went a little different going under the converter instead of under the sump. We added egt in all 8 primaries Wastegate supplied, non other than turbosmart 60mm powergate gen5. We won’t use anything but TS. Screamer pipe to suit Supplied and fitted 2000hp intercooler. Built by none other than Plazmaman. LSX swept tank 3.5 in and out Full custom intercooler kit 3.5 to 4 using 6 sets of plazmaclamps, and of course a mitch Tanti bulkhead on the drivers side. We didn’t retain the fog lights as the front bumper has had them removed from a previous turbo build. We supplied and fitted 2 x Turbosmart raceport BOVS. fabricated stainless turbo drain line 4 stainless 2 piece dump pipe braced at the engine under the car which allows the front section to be removed easily during plug checks and super easy install for practicality Matt wanted to add something wild aswell adding a 5 bonnet exit dump pipe into the mix which is swapped out from the 4 front section in a matter on minutes. We added an AFR bung and X pipe to comply with drag racing rules. Big thanks to Darcy from kurrupt kustoms for cutting the hole in the bonnet for us! The car got finished off with a full 4 to twin 3 hand fabricated mild steel exhaust system. This is the second car we have done with the Munro 4 link rear end. Not as easy task but with enough hours anything is possible. We fitted the maganflow mufflers matt supplied and it came up a real treat. We also did some mics fabrication work like mounting engine oil cooler, trans coolers, ps cooler, modified factory ps pump and Resevoir position to work as normal, fitted clear view filter kit. Attached a tonne of photos to look through and to see how such a big combo can look like it’s kind of supposed to be there. Will get back to messages tomorrow as I get time. We are still working really hard to catch up All the best from the team at killaboost
11.01.2022 1 of 2 sets of HQ T4 manifolds/crossover/4 dump pipe suit 50mm progate for John @ LS speed shop.
11.01.2022 Who doesn’t love a Longroof? Sam’s VE out and about after being tuned by Luke @ LS tuning and performance last night. Matter of fact I just knocked out 190km of highway driving as part of our testing procedure and what a pleasure this thing is to drive! Car arrived to us with no motor fitted, and a boot full of parts. We had North Vic Engines peice together a nice forged 6.0 alloy L98 deal using parts supplied by Troy at Warspeed. The engine was finished and ready for the car... to arrive. We got to work dressing the engine and modifying the loom as part of how we always do it to setup these turbo systems. While the engine was still out we did all required work before the engine went in (make stuff easier), from there we fitted the turbo kit and did the fuel system. After all that it was time to hook into all the turn key work getting the ready to fire, and ready to bed in on the dyno. Engine- Forged L98, standard capacity 364, 9.5:1 Comp, kelford turbo cam, head and main studded, std crank, std rectangle port cylinder heads, che rocker bearings and dual valve springs Fuel system- fore innovations g8 twin pump assembly, turbosmart FPR2000 external reg, Bosch 1000cc injectors, an8 200 series speedflow lines/fittings/filter. Factory flex sensor and fuel pressure sensor, std rails. Fuel system all in tank (no surge, no noisey pumps) Boost control- eboost2 assembly, turbosmart 50mm progate gen5 Turbo kit- Killaboost entry level kit, aeroflow cooler 600/300/100, VS racing 80/87 t4 1.10, all off the shelf pipework from kit Exhaust- custom from dump pipe to tips, 4 to twin 3 mild steel, twin 3.5 tips to fill the bumper nice! Car is bagged so we tucked that bad boy up nice and neat to give unreal ground clearance Last night we got her onto the hubs for luke to bed the rings and run the engine in. Before not too long it was time to do an oil change and send her north to the horsepower gods. 480rwkw / 11 psi 98 PUMP (HUB) 570rwkw / 13 psi ETHANOL 55% (HUB) This combo is limited by the standard auto trans that the car is running. Managed to keep it alive but better start saving for that TH400! Some more ks and testing with the car and Sam can have the big girl back next week. All the best Killaboost
11.01.2022 Business as usual for us. Last week one of many jobs sent out was a set of VB/VS t4 4 into 1 sets for Jamie swift up in Brisbane. Also on the other side of the shop sam’s VE wagon coming along really well with the whole kit and kaboodle installed along with almost completing the full 4 to twin 3 custom mild steel exhaust system. ... Jarrods VY clubsport coming along well copping a VT-VZ entry level turbo kit and also receiving a plazmaman LSX intercooler and all custom pipework to suit the combo and front bumper. Haven’t finished the cold side yet but will post more pics once it is sorted and ready for battle. Posted some progress pics along with it. Yesterday we had another customer drive up to albury from Kilmore VIC to pick up his fresh new VE entry level manifolds, we are wrapped with our new aussie tags! Last photos of the post show the Killaboost workute doing more longevity devopment testing last weekend out in the middle of nowhere. The car got a decent hiding from our head fabricator sam at a local event on the Friday night, to then drive the car interstate the next day to go fishing the entire next day and also squeeze in a 30th birthday party during the day for a 400km round trip and back to albury with the tyres on wire!! This car and turbo kit has really proven itself to be a killer street package. Over 10,000km since July in this car and still yet to fix anything apart from oil chances and tyres. Amen to that! Corona virus? Fuck’d if any of us in the country know what’s going to happen long term. We still have a bit of work there and working on stock, still taking on work and the freight companies are still running. Until such time that we are forced to stay home we will continue to pump it and keep working hard for the people. We also have enough toilet paper so I think we will be sweet. Killaboost
11.01.2022 Some of our recent jobs as we work through our list of work! Been a bloody busy year for us and thanks for the ongoing support. Got some completed VE T6 s400 4 into 1 there, HQ T6 inc 4 dump pipe, VE pro mod 4 into 1, VB/VS universal twin, and also pictured is Allans VF grocery getter wagon in Canberra knocking out a wild 600+ KW using one of our entry level VF kits. (was the highest output we have seen from the smallest VF kit that we do.) As Christmas nears we are still go...ing hard, putting out 8-10 kits a week and a decent amount of custom stuff is lined up to be started very soon. We also plan to show some more R&D design work as a few new things are currently taking shape in the background (when we get a spare minute) Thanks Killaboost manifolds
10.01.2022 Nath’s late model VE using one of our ve/vf turbo kits. Engine- SBE cammed L77/L98 manual transmission, flex fuel, 12psi Turbocharger- Proboost s480 t4 1.10 (87mm turbine wheel)... Intercooler- Plazmaman LSX 500mm/400mm/76mm swept tank style. Car put together and tuned by- Manvell design and performance. 544 RWKW Thanks Killaboost
10.01.2022 Jarrod’s VY clubsport that we setup a few weeks ago with our vt-vz entry level turbo kit. Luke from LS tuning and performance had it on the hub dyno today doing what he does best. 470rwkw (hub), just shy of 11psi.... 98 pump fuel, standard bottom end 5.7 ls1, kelford turbo camshaft fitted by Gricey. Cheers Killaboost
10.01.2022 The ultimate sleeper almost ready for Sunday drives to church! Bill from Canberra bought his LS converted, basically untouched VL down for some pipework to set up for twin turbo. We started off with a set of our universal low and forward VB-VS manifolds and got to work setting them up with the tuffmounts and rb30 k frame. A moroso deep sump was also fitted in place.... Next job was get on the phone to Plazmaman racing, for one of their badass 100mm twin entry/single outlet vertical feed intercoolers. We were not sure where the top outlet pipe needed to be so we had the intercooler sent with the tanks tacked on only. We tacked up the top pipe in relation to where the throttle would be. From there Sam made a weapon of a jig and the intercooler was sent back to Sydney to have the tanks removed, welded, and outlet pipe welded up. The jig was used to make sure the top tank/outlet orientation stayed right to suit the throttle position. The cooler got mounted and twin Genuine Turbosmart raceport bovs fitted, along with IAT sensor port. The outlet position allows use of a completely standard bonnet without a reverse cowl. The turbos were positioned in accordance with where the car would steer etc. Turbo positions were locked in and then fabrication to Join the turbos to the manifolds was under way. At the same time priority gate entries were fabricated in, and 2 x genuine Turbosmart gen5 50mm wastegates fitted in behind the front bar. We positioned the turbos to suit some nice long air filters by bills request. Next job was do the intercooler piping, screamer pipes and 3/4 stainless hand fabricated turbo drains. In relation to the turbo drains we also fabricated and mounted a scavenge resevoir which allows the turbos to maximise gravity to get the oil away from the turbos and into the scavenge pump. The PWR radiator and single 16 3400cfm fan were mounted up front. We fabricated and mounted a new lower rad support that the radiator sits in. Clearance up front of the engine was maximised by converting the accessories to gen4 offset with the use of factory alt and water pump position. From there, twin 3.5 stainless dump pipes to clear the full lock, and a twin 3 stainless exhaust system dumped at the diff. The vl floor pan is a bit of a tricky one to do a twin system on. The exhaust once removed has twin bullhorns that fit into place and bolt straight to the dump pipes. These were built for drag racing. A challenging job, but very rewarding to see it al together. Thanks Killaboost manifolds
10.01.2022 Lindsay wanted a bigger combo for his VF SSV. We did him up some of our off the shelf VE/VF GTX55 manifold sets, crossover suit powerglide/th400, suit 6 bolt being a dart block 388ci, full 4 2 piece stainless dump pipe. Still retains AC with one modified line to accomodate for the 4. Turbo being used is an 88mm GTX5533r gen2 unit. Luke LS tuning is currently putting the car together and it’ll be making some noise next week!... Also lindsay’s old complete T4 turbo kit will be for sale as of next week, we will post all photos and inclusions next week. Kit made over 800RWKW and is a real belter of a T4 setup! Please enquire within if interested. Cheers Killaboost
09.01.2022 VE-VF GTX5533r manifolds suit TH400. Inc EGT Bungs and caps. We build a lot of these for the big combos in late model commodores, currently have 7 or so on the go, which is pretty normal.... Thanks
08.01.2022 Love building these- HQ t4 log style manifolds. Completed this week and out the door to go live the boosted life. Sorry for our lack of posting (and also lack of phone answering) these last couple weeks and I apologise to all the people trying to get through, we are doing our best.... Since corona we have been slammed with over double our normal workload and only just starting to get a hold of it weeks later. Stacks more getting done and going out everyday! Killaboost manifolds
08.01.2022 UPDATE FROM KILLABOOST MANIFOLDS. In relation to our last post a few weeks ago I mentioned we were totally mopped in with work with a perfectly timed flood of incoming work and our only other fabricator out of action with a pretty hefty back injury. GOOD NEWS - Sam is back at work doing half days and light duties. He isn’t pumping manifolds or kits out but he is chipping away doing small fabrication jobs on the 2 major custom projects we have on at the minute.... MORE GOOD NEWS - We have hired another full time young gun welder/fabricator who trialled a few weeks ago and starts full time next week. He is a fast learner and fits in perfectly to our workplace. SOME BAD NEWS - With sam our main force being away and the massive wave of recent work I have been unable to keep up working by myself with some limited part time help from our mates Steve and jack (local boiler makers). The workload has proven itself to be very hard to manage as I can only do so much. I have said it before and I’ll say it again- majority of people have no idea what sort of time goes into this type of work- it is very time consuming and labour intensive. For the next 3 or so weeks I will be pressing pause on taking anymore orders in so we can get in and focus on what’s in front of us for the time being and take some of the stress out of it. I’m not trying to upset anybody, just doing what Needs to be done to allow us to focus. FOR THE PEOPLE AWAITING AN INVOICE TO GET A JOB LOCKED IN I WILL STILL TAKE THOSE ONES ON (there are 6 or so there to lock in) Just send me another message to confirm it again as messages piling up in the business inbox and struggling to keep on top of those and I keep forgetting to get back to people. I’m not ignoring anyone on purpose, just busy trying to keep up . Anybody who didn’t pay their deposit in the last 2 weeks or so to get started will have their spot deleted. Again I apologise, but the industry is experiencing a busy period and a lot of us are in the same boat, just came at a bad time losing a guy to injury. ANYWAY, apart from that all is well. Here are some pics of a big custom job we have on at the minute- this is the hotside for Matt’s GTX55 combo that fits very nice into his immaculate 427 LSX powered VY clubsport. Coming up a right treat this one. Over n out Killaboost
08.01.2022 Always like doing these ones. VE/VF T6 suit 60mm wastegate. 5 more sets of these to build this week.... Thanks Killaboost
06.01.2022 Hi guys As a lot of you are aware, but majority are not aware- our only other fabricator, sam, was injured almost 2 weeks ago and is away with a pretty decent back and leg injury. It is suggested that sam is away for a number of weeks until the medical experts can learn the actual extent of his injury and give guidelines on when he will return etc. Yes he is still walking and living breathing but he is not at work and it will be a bit before he is back at the bench doing what...Continue reading
06.01.2022 Ben Gilbert is stepping up his game for his vx, getting into a brand new Garrett GTX55 turbocharger. His GTX was v band entry and we did not have a position jig there to complete the manifold- so we built our usual VT-VZ GTX55 manifolds and included the rest of the material and gate merge for him complete the turbo position at his end in Sydney. All the best... Killaboost See more

05.01.2022 T6 open 4 into 1 VT-VZ turbo manifolds for ben polson down in Seaford, Melbourne. Also included EGTs on all 8 and EMAP bung. Starting to get a control of the workload at the minute but I do need to add that we are the busiest we have ever been and under the pump pretty hard so we need people to be patient at the moment as our industry has taken a hell of a boom with workload. Every manifold we build is hand crafted, these things take time! If you’re in a rush we can only do s...o much. If you have tried calling us but can’t get on, it’s because we stopped answering the phone a few weeks ago so we can focus on the work ahead of us. Apologies if we have upset anybody. In other news I will also mention that a lot of people think we are based in either in Melbourne or Sydney- both incorrect. We are located in ALBURY which is in NSW (only just) literally on the border of VIC and NSW. The border into VIC has its complications with covid and The VIC side is where we pick up a lot of our workshop material and supplies. The border being shut is posing a little bit of complication but we are still able to trade and get on with it all, just a bit of an inconvenience for day to day jobs. None the less, still getting things done. Killaboost.
05.01.2022 Sanch and Al’s twin turbo VL Calais drag race car. EGT X8 added 2 x gen5 turbosmart 50mm progates used twin 3.5 bullhorn style dump pipes used with detachable race pipes with X bolts fabricated in. Setup so the dump pipes can v band into a full exhaust down the track if needed for DC or noise restricted track events custom radiator assembly and fabricated lower radiator support to hold all the gear in place, manifolds supported to rails each side scavenge resevoir fabricated to suit the combo Car is now headed back to Melbourne to frank @ Allsparks to have the new engine fitted, fluid transfer plumbing and wiring. Its now one step closer to its 1000KW goal. Thanks Killaboost manifolds

04.01.2022 Some work done this week so far.... HQ T6 manifolds to suit glide/400/350/4l80, with a stainless 4 dump pipe with a custom built turbine outlet flange to suit garrett GTX47 supplied by the customer. We also have in stock VT-VZ specific catch can/overflow tank combos. We have both styles to suit factory size breathers and also AN10.... All the best, Killaboost manifolds
04.01.2022 Recently the killaboost workute destroyed another diff (only the second one since 2012) so not a bad run really. We got amongst the VF GTS/LSA 9.9 rear end conversion- sourcing a rear end assembly from Gentech in Canberra, cheers for the hook up fellas. Very straight forward conversion. We managed to retain the existing VE/VF calipers (4 piston brembos found in the VF redlines), ve factory handbrake cable assembly, we also re used all the existing LSA hub and handbrake get u...p with an LSA rotor. Apart from that just had a tail shaft done by Mcgaffin who does all our tail shaft and machining work. Modified the exhaust also as these units are pretty girthy and needed a bit of a chop and re work which was easy done. Still running a normal HSV wheel same as what the car always had. We converted it to VF abs sensors to suit the vf hub. Thanks to the boys helping me out after hours getting it sorted . Chucked another pic in of the car out and about as this car goes everywhere and anywhere daily driven. Some pics of a vt-vz kit that went out last week and also another Vf full kit with the Plazmaman LSX cooler going together in WA. The week before we had 15 kits go out. This week we should have 5 full ve/vf kits and 4 vt/vz hot side kits going out, aswell as 6 sets vb/vs manifold combos. Thanks Killaboost manifolds
03.01.2022 Glenn’s V band entry GTX55 combo done for his VE wagon. This is the second v band entry GTX55 we have done for the VE model. - 60mm power gate - 4 stainless 2 piece dump pipe ... - fabricated 3/4 to an12 drain line - 4 to twin 3 mild steel exhaust and xforce muffler. Very keen to see this one finished, manual trans behind a 400 Warspeed LY6 engine, that magic 1000 at the hubs should come pretty easily Killaboost
02.01.2022 Making some good progress setting Glenn’s VE SS wagon up for the new gen2 Garrett 91mm V band entry GTX55 combo, manifolds about 80% done and we can move onto the rest of the pipework! And yep the engine crane is used when we build a manifold from scratch to hold that 30kg weapon in place to begin the planning and design stage of a custom manifold. And making a good start on sanels twin turbo VL Calais, 2 x gen2 G35s behind the front bumper have been positioned and ready to h...ave the rest of the fabrication done including another nice OTR style twin turbo intercooler system. Still putting out a heap of manifolds on the other side of the shop, straight back into it for 2021. Also we hit 15k followers the other day. Thanks to everybody for the support over the last 6 years Cheers Killaboost
02.01.2022 Merry Christmas to everybody, hope everyone had a safe and relaxing day with family n friends. We haven’t been posting much this year as our workload has just been full on and a little overwhelming. We had a red hot crack finishing as much as we could before the end of the year. The other night I called past LS tuning and performance on my way home from work. They have recently just done a full install of one of our VE VF kits........ VF commodore sedan- SBE LS3/manual/unknown camshaft, entry level kit with upgraded plazmaman LSX intercooler, upgraded proboost s480/96 t4 1.25 turbocharger- some great power Also I have attached some pics of some recently completed kits that we managed to get some pics of, and vic’s genuine immaculate full restored VK brocky we did a simple and subtle exhaust on this week too. Happy holidays Killaboost
02.01.2022 Sam’s Series 2 VE wagon project coming along well! The car arrived here with no motor, gearbox barely hanging in there half propped up with a jack stand. Before the car arrived we picked up the engine and sent it to North Vic Engines. The guys built Sam a nice standard block standard stroke forged 6.0 L98 with plenty of good gear supplied by Troy at Warspeed!... With the car here, brand new engine sitting there and a full Killaboost entry level kit waiting patiently to get bolted up it was time to get to work. Before the engine went in we did all wiring work and hose work to make things easier. As the car has done a Ks it got a new water pump, new rad, all new rad pipes and clamps, engine mounts etc the usual stuff. Sam said from the start that he wants something similar to what the Killaboost workute has- Reliability, practicality and plenty of horsepower when it is needed. The engine went in with the help of Luke from LS tuning and performance, the std converter was modified to compliment this combo the best it can until it’s time to go the th400 route. Once the engine was bolted in the turbo kit went in, plus all other supporting work that is mandatory to building a reliable turbo LS street car. This week we did the full exhaust to sam’s request- 4 single to twin 3 done in mild steel and hung up nice n tight as this car is bagged and need the ground clearance. AFR bungs done as we always do them. We got a hold of some burley twin 3.5 tips that was much needed to fill the wagon bumper! The exhaust also received some very special ultra high flow secret recipe Killaboost cat converters which we hope will keep the Facebook police at bay. Car is looking great so far, a box of goodies containing the turbosmart eboost2, turbosmart fpr2000 reg and all speedflow fittings arrived yesterday which means we can hook in to doing the flex fuel system. From there it’s time to make some on the hubs at LS tuning and performance. *** please note, all comments regarding price and what it costs and how much for something like this will not be answered. If you are serious and would like more info, please feel free to message us anytime or call during business hours*** Thanks Killaboost
01.01.2022 Another VT-VZ turbo kit done. Finished it off and delivered it jordan @JP performance in Wodonga VIC on Friday. By Monday he has fitted it all, piped up the cooler and got the thing backed on the dyno ready to make some noise. Jordan supplied his own turbo and gate, we used his turbo to make the dump pipe and oil lines.... Another 5 to build this week. Killaboost
