25.01.2022 Throw back to Dry Needling Course in Brisbane a couple of weeks ago. Learning one of the most common and effective treatments with Dry Needling for Lateral Epicondylalgia

24.01.2022 Example of treating mid thorax + cervical in one treatment - SO, traps, lev scap, multifidi through upper thorax, deltoid, followed by manual therapy

23.01.2022 Two labrum operations later, trying to improve ROM so he does not walk with a limp. Targeted TFL, Glut Med/Min, Piriformis, hope everyone is well

23.01.2022 Chronic achilles swelling/inflammation 7/12 months, difficulty walking for long periods. First Rx redness and swelling located in upper part of achilles just below top plane of needles .This is the 2nd treatment, no redness, swelling/inflammation reduced, please note the needle placement around the point of swelling as described in the Precise Points Dry Needling Course L1. Very positive and better than expected result, hoping to get him back to longer walking/short running soon

22.01.2022 First and foremost I hope everyone and their families are safe and healthy. I will not write more of what is already out there about what is happening, except to say that hopefully we are all still working. I will keep to the theme and keep posting work relevant pictures, hopefully as both education and inspiration. All the best to everyone and stay safe

22.01.2022 Happy New Year! And another decade of needling to come :) Patella tendon pain on running and walking uphill

19.01.2022 Very specific pain located at the MTP head. Pain only comes when weight bearing on gait. Applied multiple needles followed by articulation

19.01.2022 Acute LBP 3/7, have gone through Multifidus, QL and medial Piriformis unilaterally. Common points used every day with great effect. Thankyou for supporting Precise Points Dry Needling Courses this and every other year. I truly hope you gained something and I wish you a Very Happy 2021 and beyond

17.01.2022 Hamstring insertion tightness at ischial tuberosity, along gluteal fold, using the flying dragon technique and chasing semimembranosus down the thigh to the referred tightness. Also included medial and lateral piriformis

16.01.2022 Ex army, doing crossfit 3x/week, px when hopping on lateral side of knee and under patella, can squat but pain at end range, -ve on McMurray's, but pain on lateral joint line. Needled at posterior part of lateral meniscus, ITB and points around the knee covered in course....post treatment no px at end range when squatting...we shall see how he goes

14.01.2022 A young lady who hyperextended at netball 3 days prior. Came in limping. Pain extended from the medial meniscus to the insertion of hamstring, where gastroc head passes. Ortho testing was negative for meniscus, but positive on plantarflexion - most likely calf at tibial condyle. Dry needled around the famous PPoints 'meniscus' point and dry needling into calf insertion. Believe it or not - left not limping

13.01.2022 Px around hamstring insertion, soleus and gastroc. Followed medial belly around, stimulating twitch response, followed by gastroc stretch. More home time = more weekend warriors, thus more chance of injury. Hope everyone is safe and working

12.01.2022 Male tennis player, ongoing pain when playing tennis, primarily when using backhand topspin. Pain is most specifically over the lateral epicondyle of the humerus, then into the extensor Ulnaris, and arcade of Frohse. Was specific needling onto the condyle, or attachment of the common extensor tendons, followed by articulation and stretching

10.01.2022 An oldie but a goodie - Lateral Epicondylalgia - very common presentation in clinic and good response. All the points demonstrated have been taught in Precise Points Dry Needling Courses. Arm in neutral, and using the muscles that attach on the common extensor origin + my other little combination distally

10.01.2022 Calf and musculotendinous attachment to achillies treatment. All points TrP'ed and then MET, aiming to increase ROM and reduce pain when loading with running and squats.

10.01.2022 Dry Needling under the L scapula, for that stubborn px where it cannot be reached. Techniques used were classic Ms Travell getting fasciculation, followed by stimulate and leave, over the lev scapula, and into the cerivcal, please note transverse under the scapula

09.01.2022 Intercostal and thoracic pain, needled transverse through intercostals

09.01.2022 An example of Px referring from thorax into the intercostals - needling from the ribs of origin out into the intercostal area bilaterally - needles transverse to skin

08.01.2022 Deltoid ligament sprain, 3 days post injury, not too much swelling but instability on standing

07.01.2022 Impingement Syndrome: Targeting Supraspinatus, Biceps, Pec Minor, and Posterior Muscles of Rotator Cuff

07.01.2022 Posted this to show needling for Plantar Fasciitis through taping #precisepoints.com.au

05.01.2022 Bilateral thigh pain when post playing football. Pain on squatting, worked through Rectus Femoris, Vastus Lateralis, Vastus Medialis, ITB, only one leg shown, followed by MET and stretching through quadriceps and hip flexors

04.01.2022 Px over Infra insertion posterior, when serving in tennis. Was positive on impingement orthopaedic testing, thus used points of pain posteriorly, followed by anteriorly through the Supraspinatus

02.01.2022 A little example of Dry Needling for plantar fasciitis referring into the intrinsic muscles of foot

01.01.2022 Cleaner with knee swelling 1 week, most probable diagnosis prepatellar bursitis, or "housemaids knee", swelling and pain located posterior to patella, medial to patella, and pain over patella tendon. Treated knee eyes, v med/lat, patella tendon. Followed up 4 days later, swelling gone...positive response on this occasion...
