23.01.2022 Poor Dunno went to have his back wheels removed today. Thanks heaps to the Northern Veterinary Practice in Kilmore for taking such good care of him.

15.01.2022 The latest addition to our menagerie. Meet Dunno. Dunno’s breeder became very ill and was being admitted to hospital. He had not found a home for Dunno or his brother, so they were to be surrender to the pound. Brother Paul decided it was time to tempt Steph with a puppy after the loss of his friend and companion,Askit, who died late last year from a snake bite. Welcome Dunno.

05.01.2022 I was thinking about the Erinundra declaration from many years ago when we took out a full page add in the Age. A statement of the problem (in this case the clear felling of the only remaining stand of Plum Pines in Australia) followed by the names of everyone who supported the statement. Lots of Scientists as well as members of the public paid I think it was about $50 each for the inclusion of their name to pay for the ad. It at least brought the problem right into the public eye and put enormous pressure on the government. I suggest we do the same for the plight of our wildlife. I am currently writing a paper on the problems facing our Victorian (as well as Australian) wildlife and would be happy for everyone to comment and change until we have something worthwhile to put in the ad. What do you all think of this suggestion?

05.01.2022 SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT To all our followers and friends PLEASE WATCH the ABC 7.30 report tonight (just had confirmation, unless we get bumped again) for ...a story on Dutch Thunder Wildlife Shelter and our relationship with Libby from Libby's Koala & Wildlife Crusade. A few weeks ago we had a visit from Gus a reporter from the ABC 7:30 Report, we look forward to seeing what he has put together. A big thanks to Wildlife Victoria for suggesting us for this piece.
