07.01.2022 Dr Marg Perrott at Kilmore Physiotherapy Centre has just been awarded the Nancy Millis Medal for her PhD on lumbopelvic or core stability in recreational athletes. The medal is awarded to the authors of outstanding PhD theses. Marg was delighted to hear the news and looks forward to sharing her knowledge with sports players. This award is named after Professor Nancy Millis, a legend in the world of science. She was one of only five Australian scientists recognised on the Australian Legends series of stamps in 2002. During her distinguished career, Professor Millis gained a string of accolades, including election to the Australian Academy of Science and a Companion of the Order of Australia. So to win a medal named after her is truly an honour!
