25.01.2022 Thank You This post? Dedicated to all our participants, our support workers, our teams across all our offices in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast & Gold Coast. Because you know what? It's been a hard slog, for everyone, we understand. So we just wanted to take the opportunity to THANK YOU guys for helping us continue on doing what we do, and doing what we love, which is supporting wonderful, amazing, talented participants with disabilities to ensure that life can be continued as no...rmal as possible. Without your unwavering support, to continue to choose us as your provider, to continue to support us in our offices, and to continue to help grow our business, we would not be here without YOU guys. So we thank you, you are all marvellous, generous, talented (this graphic pretty much sums out what we feel about you all) Image Credit Artsy Affirmations Visual description: blue background with rainbow coloured words stating: Talented, Brilliant, Incredible, Amazing, Show Stopping, Spectacular, Never The Same, Totally Unique.

23.01.2022 What an inspiration! Larry has been a long term participant of the RCS family, and once again Larry is kicking some amazing goals with his art. Read in Larry's own words his latest venture with support of Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre (BEMAC) and Regional Arts Services Network - RASN "My name is Larry Stumer and I am a participant of Real Community Services.... With the support provided by RCS staff, I have been able to develop my artistic/photography interests. Additionally, I was fortunate enough to receive grant support from BEMAC and RASN to help with the completion of a current project. The goal being: to assemble similar themed images to create a short video presentation and so enhance social media engagement. Individual images can, and often do, go through a timely development process. From there it’s on to adding video overlays in order to achieve movement in a still image. This concept came about as a by-product of Covid. With exhibition cancellations and social media taking over." So massive congratulations goes out to you Larry, you consistently push yourself to achieve bigger goals. We love this latest piece and look forward to what's in store next! #RealCommunityServices https://realcommunityservices.com.au/about-us/testimonials/

12.01.2022 @CEOSleepOut 2021 Last night was an eye opener. We had plenty of laughs and made memories we won't soon forget. It was inspiring to hear stories from those who have actually experienced homelessness. We don't realise how close we all are to it. It only takes a few things to go wrong and with no support network it is easy to find yourself with nowhere to live. ... Special thanks to Nathan, Jo, Alice, Dylan, Nikita and Trev. Not only did they help raise funds for this great cause, but they all slept out and experienced what life could be like. Safe to say most of you slept better than we did, however we loved every minute and can't wait for next year Thank you to everyone who supported the RCS team, together we raised an amazing $4,621.This has provided support to 14 individual programs, 38 beds and 152 meals to those that need it most. We couldn't have done it without you all #RealCommunityServices - Big Enough To Meet Your Needs, Small Enough To Care Image Description: Carousel of images. The first image is of Nathan, Jo, Alice, Dylan, Nikita holding up a square cardboard cutout box with the #ceosleepoutau. They are all wearing bright yellow beanies with the Vinnies CEO Sleepout logos. The second image is off all five of them again doing a selfie picture. The third and in final image is of the box where they will be sleeping with a sleeping bag and pillow.
