19.01.2022 A great day at the Unity Cup held at Rumbalara Football Netball Club. Congupna Football club won by 1 POINT!! Rumbalara Netball Team won their final. A fantastic day which has been running since 2007 between the two clubs. The event has grown significantly becoming one of the leading social inclusion events in the GV. The Unity Cup also acknowledges and celebrates the outstanding contributions women make in our community.

19.01.2022 Unity Cup was founded in 2007 as a collaboration between Rumbalara Football Netball Club and the Congupna Football Netball Club. It brings together two great clubs and has become one of the leading social inclusion events in the GV. Each year it acknowledges and celebrates our Grandmothers, mothers, aunties and sisters and the role they play in creating strong families and communities. There are many strong women and female leaders in our community who strive for equality, and empower our current and future generations. I was very proud to walk side by side in solidarity.

Regional Cities Vic is a committee of 10 Mayors and 10 Council CEOs. I was deputy chair in 2019 and I have aspired to take the chair position. This is a first for our region and I will embrace the role and ensure we have a very strong voice. As the chair I represent Regional Cities and I will be the spokesperson who meets with the ministers and politicians etc. congratulations Mayor Jennifer Alden from Bendigo for getting the deputy chair position. #excitingtimesahead.

09.01.2022 Great to meet the team at INTO THE WILD. I was quite nervous having the lizard and snake on me but the girls made me very relaxed and were just amazing in how they handle the reptiles, and their knowledge and genuine love and care. It was also great to hear how busy they have been. They take their program into the schools, corporate and community events or private functions. I learnt so much in such a short time I was to scarred to hold the snake by myselfmaybe next time.
